Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?
Ron_Artest replied to The Psychic Observer's topic in The Geek Club
Read the link I posted, here is a clip. in his Jan. 2022 testimony, Ornato said that Meadows offered the National Guard’s assistance to Mayor Bowser because of concerns about violence “out on the mall area or at the event” but “not anywhere near the Capitol.” The relevant exchange can be found on p. 78 of the transcript. Ornato did not claim that Meadows offered the National Guard’s assistance to protect the U.S. Capitol. Instead, he said there was a “concern of anti and pro groups clashing elsewhere.” It appears that the “event” he was referring to was Trump’s rally at the Ellipse just south of the White House. Neither Loudermilk, nor Hemingway mentioned this part of Ornato’s answer. Obviously, Ornato’s testimony is inconsistent with any claim that Trump wanted the National Guard to protect the U.S. Capitol. https://www.justsecurity.org/93316/anatomy-of-a-conspiracy-theory-and-a-smear-still-no-evidence-of-trump-order-for-10000-guard-on-january-6th/ -

Pelosi? Ornato's testimony doesn't prove that Trump's request was denied by pelosi. Also the request was to protect trump, not the capitol. -
Lunatic Alabama Supreme Court: frozen embryos are children

It's obviously hyperbole, welcome to political season. Americans need to know that Trump did this. He's responsible for all these laws that punish women for getting pregnant. It's what he wanted and accomplished. -

So no pelosi, right? Also this request was made in the event that Trump would walk down to the capitol with the mob and they would protect him, not the capitol. https://www.justsecurity.org/93316/anatomy-of-a-conspiracy-theory-and-a-smear-still-no-evidence-of-trump-order-for-10000-guard-on-january-6th/ It makes no sense that Trump would want 10k nat guard to protect the capitol against a mob he brought there. -

What saddens me is so many Americans continue to make excuses or just tell flat out lies about Jan 6. Trump organized the crowd, whipped them into a frenzy, told them the election was stolen and the needed to fight like Hell, then went back to the white house and watched it all unfold. And so called Americans are going to say that he didn't want a riot or that he tried to get the NG there is quell the crowd that he whipped into a frenzy to fight against the stolen election. Give me a focking break. Trump did everything he could to start a riot so spare me the BS of how he didn't want a riot. -
Speaking of credibility, you never provided any evidence that Trump didn't fart in court.

Calling him a failure would be simple and ignorant. He was a willing accomplice. He sat there and watched it all on TV, after telling the rioters that he would be there with him. He sat, watching it all, while everyone around him told him to do something, and he sat there and waited, because deep down he wanted something big to happen to keep him in office. -
Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts

No Trump was not exonerated for election fraud. The prosecution is making the case that his actions defrauded the voters by denying them information. Personally I think this is a stretch, but we'll see the evidence and the argument they make. -

Well first of all it's a fart story. Trying to deny Trump farted is just weird, considering multiple people reported it. Do you have evidence that he didn't fart? Now do you see how this is weird? But it's your hill to die on, so go for it. -

The prosecution is making the case that this payment was part of a plot to pay off anyone who had evidence that would damage the candidate Trump, making the case for election fraud. Seems like a stretch but we'll see what they have. -
