If the argument is that people shouldn't pay to watch commercials, that is exactly what cable TV has done for decades. AND all of these streaming services will have 2 tiers very soon. You see it with Peacock and Max recently added a cheaper sub with commercials. Amazon is adding commercials with a $3mo opt out. Hulu has ad based subs. They're all doing it. It's a dumb argument.
