We would be in a MUCH better position if Kamala won, IMO. We wouldn't have a trade war, the economy would still be growing, govt would not be slashed, BUT republicans WOULD control both house and senate and have the ability to do what they wanted legally, then it would be up to Harris to veto or agree. Govt the way it should work, instead of the chaotic dictatorship we have now. So inflation came in at 2.9%, .1% lower than last month, same as when Trump took office. Good news I guess but I'm skeptical. Why did inflation tick down? We didn't get any policy changes to ease inflation. Only thing I can think of is the layoffs, budget cuts and financial chaos has made Americans pause on their spending. Will be interesting to see now that tariffs are full steam ahead as of this morning, will the ensuing higher prices lead to more inflation or will consumers just stop spending which usually leads to lower inflation.

EU retaliates with their own tariffs now. It's honestly difficult to imagine that Trump is really this stupid. You have to wonder if this is a purposeful sabotage of the economy.
