To clarify, OVERALL doesn't mean everything goes down, but the net is down. net means OVERALL decrease. As far your anecdotes, can be explained away, but the data shows OVERALL prices are going up. I don't know where you live, maybe it's a pocket of decay right now, would explain it also. I can assure you that IF your experience is legit, you are in the sub 1% of people that have seen costs go down and it's not because anything Trump did.
