You're assuming 2 things. 1) The buildings need to be guarded and 2) LAPD doesn't enough personnel to do both. The LAPD Chief says that the NG or marines were not needed because he can handle it. I believe him. You choose to believe Trump.

Both are true. Here I'll dumb it down for you. Trump sending the military to LA is an authoritarian move and it's not necessary. They weren't needed and they accomplished nothing. If anything they made matters worse because the public doesn't like having the military on the street. Hopefully this makes sense to you.

My understanding is they are guarding federal buildings with no rioters or protestors in sight. Hence my statement of fact that they have not contributed anything to the peace of LA. Since you can't provide any other evidence I'll just assume you agree with me and you'll accept being a liar.
