I never claimed they won't hire black pilots. The DEI programs promote opportunities for pilots who might otherwise not get them, primarily through financial assistance. The goal is to increase the diversity but they don't lower standards. That's the lie you believe.

Because without removing their barriers to entry they would never have the opportunities to be hired. That's what the policy is about.

Wasn't talking to you specifically, Kirk who said this, and others have repeated it. So here's the problem. Why has DEI put this in people's heads? Because people like Kirk say it, and it spreads on social media, and they repeat it. You think anyone is going to read the DEI policy of United to see for themselves? Hell even a simple google search will tell you it's true. But the lies spread anyway, which is a problem, and which is why people are holding Kirk accountable for it. The trust has been eroded not because of DEI, but because of people like Kirk that question the qualifications of black people.

Well I can tell you the answer is no, and before you say you don't trust a black pilot, you should know this.

I had to open it on through the app to get sound. So look it's a terrible thing to say. He said it to be shocking. If your child was killed in a school, it's a terrible thing for a parent to hear. But I do get his point. With the cars comparison, we have gone through great lengths to make driving safer and we continue to do so. The right opposes anything that will reduce gun deaths, so it's a flawed comparison. Add in the fact that you will never be able to defend yourself against the US Military these days. Another flawed defense of dead kids.

Ive seen the one, he said MLK was a bad person, because he had affairs. Well that doesn't necessarily make someone a bad person, we're all flawed humans, but I would think considering everything great he did, overall it doesn't make him a bad person. Does he think Trump is a bad person because he has affairs? No. So that's not a disqualifying event right? Must be something else right? Maybe it's the fact that he says the civil rights act was a mistake? So, got anything else to put in context?

I never said his murder was justified. I don't believe it was. I simply corrected the person who claimed Kirk never dehumanized anyone. He clearly did.
