Having a pool is a huge responsibility, not just for your kids but for any kid visiting. Too many sh1t bag parents got pools the last 5 years that don't take the responsibility seriously.

My kids all grew up with a pool. It has a fence. They were never allowed within the pool area unsupervised until they passed their green band test. It's called being a responsible parent. We as a society should want more responsible parents. Excusing irresponsible behavior does not make society better.
