Well let's just be clear on the facts here before you dig yourself any deeper. The enhanced subsidies were passed as part of the American Recovery Act of 2021. This is the what you are calling a temporary stopgap. They were extended 3 more years as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. They were extended as costs rose dramatically during the covid recovery. Set to expire end of this year. Health insurance premiums continue to rise. Coupled with losing these subsidies, millions of Americans will no longer be able to afford their insurance and lose it. Republicans want this to happen. This is not pablum, it's facts and real life.

Not going to argue with me that the Democrats suck at politics. Politics aside, Republicans have decided they want to make healthcare more expensive for millions of Americans.
