Right, a smart person thinks that sherill supporters are calling in bomb threats to high sherill turnout centers in hopes to move independents to sherill. It's all very simple and believable. You just saw this on facebook. I can explain and use actual critical thought, since I've been saying this. Trump has already shown that he doesn't care about the constitution or the rule of law (several examples exist but I'll highlight tariffs and ending appropriations). Republicans have already ended the filibuster for another vote. So it's clear that they don't care about democracy or ending the filibuster. Make sense? OK good. So then Trump says it's the Democrats fault, he can't do anything about it. That was a lie, and several of us including me pointed out they could just change the rules and open the Govt. I remember you specifically said that was impossible. Now Trump is saying that is exactly what Republicans should do. This proves my point that Trump can end the shutdown today and he doesn't care about chipping away at democracy, just like I said. Republicans in the Senate are so far resisting but we'll see how long it lasts. They could be waiting for Democrats to blink which there are some reports that post election day they will. If not then they could just do what Trump tells them to as they have for 9 months now, we'll see. Not sure if you can follow along with all that but happy to answer any questions.

Yup, every year. With the gov race in NJ, we get mailings every day. My son and I get Republican stuff and my daughters get Democrats stuff. Wife gets nothing as an independent which is probably a mistake by both sides.
