There is a recording of Lake speaking about the "commercialization" angle. And it seems Lake released the tune in 1975 solo, but the song does appear on ELP's Works Vol 2 album. The recording I have on one of my Xmas CD's is performed by ELP.

I heard a rumor that on one of these interviews recently he said that he wished he could watch this weekend's game with Woody. Is this true? Did you catch this anywhere watching interviews, or is this just myth? If true, that would be pretty creepy.
