  1. "I am tired of this place looking like a pig sty. When I get back from Mar-a-Lago, I want the floors mopped, the windows washed, the brass polished,...No more free rides. Its time to make this house great again!"

  2. Didn't realize that was that uncommon. Doesn't seem like it would be. I feel like I see a lot of batters strike out, come up again later, strike out...

Also feel really ditzy posting this but..

While multiple strike outs are not uncommon, 4 is a high number for a single game. More rare/odd though is the fact that he did it on only 12 pitches which would be the minimum number of pitches possible to accomplish this feat of futility. Even those who strike out will typically take a few balls or foul off a few 2 strike pitches.

  3. How can you lead a better life? Become a better person? Questions well suited for science or religion?

    Better life? Science

Better person? Neither...I will grant you that religion can provide motivation and a framework, but it is not required to become a better person.

  4. Happy Easter guys! Normally I go to sunrise service but I don't really go to church here in San Antonio. Only go back home cause it's where I'm comfortable. My parents flew in so they are cooking Easter lunch. First time I've had Easter lunch in years. Always had to work

Yeah, God, prayer, and such gets weird when you are away from home

  5. 99% sure it's Jupiter among further research. Sweet, actually it can get that bright, that cloud tops are very reflective and Jupiter is a beast, even though it is very far away.

    :pointstosky:

Not sure exactly where you are viewing from, but if you are in North America, it certainly is Jupiter. (EDIT: I see Detroit in your profile) Jupiter is at opposition (opposite the Sun in the sky) thus it looks extremely big and bright right now rising right around sunset. I would bet the red flashes you describe are due to the Earth's atmosphere/pollution...especially if you are viewing it fairly low above the horizon.

  6. Simple questions. Be completely honest.

    Are you:

    1. Conservative or Liberal Conservative

    2. What was your first job Dishwasher

    3. Was your home poor, middle class or well-to-do/rich Middle Class

    4. Did you graduate from any post high school education facility Yes

4a. If so, how was it paid for Scholarship/Student Loans/Parent support

    5. Have you ever been on any form of welfare (food stamps, WIC, medicare, etc.) No

I'll post my thoughts on my theory AFTER everyone answers.

ETA: I'm an cowludge gradchewate....so I fixed it.

  7. I always thought he seemed like a squeaky clean kind of guy? <_<

Police then went to a Philadelphia car wash owned by Harrison to question him about the gun. Harrison admitted owning such a weapon, but claimed it never left his suburban Philadelphia home.

However, the source said the gun was discovered in a bucket at the car wash, and tests showed that it had fired seven bullets that matched those found at the scene

And I always thought he was somewhat intelligent...apparently we were both wrong.

  8. Campbell is Catholic, but she alos claims being a Jew because her mother is Jewish.

What kind of focked up logic is this???? One can not be both Catholic and Jewish. I don't give a rats ass what her mother is. Have people lost site of the fact that religion is about beliefs? I can just hear Neve debating herself..."Jesus was the son of God...wait, no he wasn't...yes he was....no..."

  9. Every child is different. I took my oldest to an Indians game when he was 4. He loved every minute of it and was never bored. My second son who is now about to turn 4 couldn't possibly handle 9 innings of baseball. It isn't about age. It depends on their personality, maturity, and interest. You know your child best, so if he's into it, go for it. I may need to wait until my youngest turns about 10!!! Even then I am not so sure.

  10. It's most definately NOT a coincidence.

I can give you 10 different scenarios here, but the reality is I would bring it back to them, DEMAND flat out they fix the issue and you will NOT pay any further charges.

It could be they failed to hook up an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve back up, an 02 sensor, or any number of vacuum lines back up.

All could cause the problems you are having.

What I would do...is bring it to a place like Checker, or Advanced Auto, etc...get a error code reader, plug it in, find the error code (there will be some) or codes and dump them on here.

In any case...I would bring it back and blow a 'gasket' on them ######.

The Chevy people or my wife's cousin???

If the Chevy place focked it up, shouldn't my wife's cousin have been able to detect it? Or is he just a hack as well???

  11. Wife's car: 2002 Chev Impala...64,000 miles

    Here is the situation...

About a month and a half ago we had the exhaust replaced and routine services done at a Chevy dealer/service garage. Not that this related, but we soon had trouble starting the car. Battery was kicking in, but the engine not turning over without pumping some gas and trying several starts. We took the car to my wife's cousin who owns a service station. He said the fuel pump was bad and he replaced it for us. Now, not only do we still have difficulty starting the car, but twice it has stalled out while being operated. I have also noticed a very strong odor/concentration of gas fumes in our garage when the car is there. There are no noticeable drippings on the garage floor of any kind.

So what are we looking at here? Fuel injector problem? Something clogging or blocking the fuel line? Leak in the fuel line?

  12. I watched a city plow/salt truck that was stuck in front of my neighbors yard for about 15 minutes. The truck was diagonal in the street. It's headlights were pointed right at my house. It was wedged into the snow bank at the side of the road and just kept spinning its wheels as it tried several times to back out and straighten up and/or move forward through it.

On a good note...The snow piles from plowing my driveway are higher than the basketball hoop, so my 5 and 3 yr old boys were able to sled right here at home!

  13. What happened to the umbilical cord? Did it just rip? How far away did the train get before anyone knew? If the woman fainted for a few minutes before telling anyone, I would think the train traveled a fairly significant distance in that time for them to just "stop the train and run onto the tracks to find the baby"

And why are the toilets dumping directly onto the tracks? This is India right? They have nuclear technology but can't rig up some kind of chemical storage system that can be emptied at one of the stops?
