What makes you think that J. walker is going to be even 75% of the reciever that he was 2 years ago. he is coming off of a acl injury which takes 2 years for it to be fully healed and even then it puts you at about 90%. name me one acl reconstructive surgery that the player has come back from the next year and put up big numbers. If both walker and driver play every game next year... drive will be ahead of walker stat wise. i quote" and dont give me that "well, what about his first 2 years?" arguement/ ownership knows thats how long it usually takes for a wr to develop in the league, and thye factor that in when they offer a contract." think about i.. i think you just defeated your own argument...

this is what i am hearing as well. I think in this case either salsa man maybe on the take. I think if i was a team, and the guy was doing simple things on his proday, then i would downgrade him... or bring him in and make him make the tough throws... and then tell everyone he looked great and not draft him...

i am sorry but the saints have had the best move in the market so far... and its regarding the most important position on the field.. so they get my vote and i am not a saints fan... all other teams have had decent upgrades and signings, but SD letting brees go is the worst move so far and saints signing him is the best move so far... its amazing how a franchise qb can make a whole team turn around. (if healthy that is.)

if you had to pick between one of them for your Fantasy team, who would you think will have a better year? rhodes looks like the place taker for edge.... vs priest... but not sure how much he is going to carry with LJ, on top of that, if he was ever to even come back.

I can bid for either player in my dynasty league with my 2.08 draft pick. I am wondering if they are worth it and i can only pick one.

wow.. i am suprised that nobody has an opinion one way or another... I am personally leaning toward rhodes, unless indy signs a FA. I dont think any RB that they pick can come in and fill in better than rhodes...

is he almost done? or does he have a few more good years left? what do you project in the upcoming year? i think he will be a top 15 back... i can see him with a 1000 yard season.. or am i just high?

i completely disagree with you... for one.. from what i heard they are not 25mil under the cap. with the rookie salary and the new salaries kicking in, they are about half that value under the cap. thats #1.. so that figure is a off. 2nd, i would never pay AA or randel el, that kind of money.... thats just stupid. i am hoping that angelo learned from his mistake from last year from over paying for moose. there is no reason to pay top dollar for an avg player after their big season... IT HAS NEVER PAID OFF before.. and it wont... now if AA and El signed for 1/3 of what they did, then i would be upset, but I thought their offer to randel is was quite good, no reason to be upset because another team is stupid by over paying by 100 % 3rd. I think the bears are doing the right thing... a lot of the money is going to dry up pretty soon, so the players left will not have much bargaining power and the bears can then sign some players(some good ones are still out there) for good value for their dollar. last but not least... I am going to go postal on the next person that dogs tillman. tillman is a very good corner and the best corners still do get beat. but i do have to admit that he is a bigger corner and better suited to coving players like moss/chad/owens vs a small quick reciver like SS. so for anyone freaking out about tillman is just plain stupid. now as far as the carolina game... i put none of the blame on the players..(if you want. i can go to specific details) they were consistently put in the wrong positions by their coaches to which it caused them to fail. there has not been one game that a single or even double coverage has stopped SS all last year, so why did the bears coachign staff do that to tillman? because they coached with their balls and not their brains. now i do hope that the bears go out and try to get a tightend or WR.. i think those are the most glarring needs for our team.... and a DL or OL would be nice too.. but just dont over pay by much.

if you gave up depth to get fitz.. then it will be all good. but i should warn you.. i dont think the 50 pass attempts per week is going to continue with ariz, since they have edge now.... but you never know..

I agree with the statements so far... the unfortunate part is that we dont have anything in the rules to prevent this.. and we always say that we do not want to change rules midseason... so we have two options... leave it as it is.. or bring it up to vote in the league and settle on a solution. and the vote will have to get at least 8 votes to pass. *since we cant count jiggy as a voter*. what do the rest of you think? I think this should be a league decision.... I am sorry, but by loodkign at the lineups.. i cant see how he was playing the matchups....

As a bears fan.. i am not sure if i agree with ya on everything... -Better D.. yes -Better running game... so far yes. -better special teams... i call it even. -better OL... so far yes. -better coaching... I am not sure what one has done so much better or worst than other... so i call that even too.. although i wish mooch would stick with kJ a little more.. -garcia vs orton.. as much as i like orton.. but today, if i had a choice... i take garcia... I wanted the bears to go after garcia this offseason, but he was the only one they didnt talk to... not sure why.. but I take garcia today qb's the bears over orton in a heart beat. -why is it that if the bears win, it will be due to turnovers and mental mistakes... Last time i checked the mental game is part of playing and so is holding on to the ball. you turn the ball over.. you will end up losing... you make mistakes.. you will end up losing.. the current bears have no such great reputation of being a mistake free team that if they do such things it will be out of ordinary for them. so if they do... it should be credited to the loins if they caused it or bad play if it was a nonforced mistake. eitherway a mistake..and does not mean that the loins played over their head. -i think on paper..the bears look better...but they play the games for one reason.. to find out for real who is better. I think the loins x-factor is garcia.. if he does what he is capable of doing.. he could pull out this game for them.. but he is somewhat hampered with their losses of WR's and Bly. but if we are just here to talk trash... then DA BEARS 69 wimpy loins -3 will settle for 24-16 bears victory though....

If Harrington was the quarterback of the Bears this season, I think they have the same record. Kyle Orton hasn't had the playing time Harrington has, but he really hasn't done anything other than be a warm body back there. Thomas Jones and the defense have won those games. Correct...and the main thing you said is "won those games"! Joey Harrington and Kyle Orton are not going to win games by themselves. Not now or not ever. ok.. the difference at the timewas that we said no pickups of any kind during the offseason.. FA or WW.. thats different. and I never remember seeing anything about no FA AT ALL... The rosters are big so its little movement but FA and WW are two different things and so should be handled that way. we can have everyone on waivers until tuesday night after the games and then the WW runs and you can claim any players you like.. i say make it 4 rounds. and then after that... i should be able to go pickup someone if i want to without being penalized on my waiver wire position... what if i want to just pick up a def for a week... i shouldnt have to get kicked to the back of the line for that. I say we put it up for a vote and if we get more than 75% to agree we start it next week.. what do you guys think?

I didnt realize we didnt have FA in our league site. we can only pick up players through waiver wire.. i think thats wrong.. there needs to be WW right after the games, and then FA's on a first come first serve basis.. every league i know is that way.. do you guys agree? if so.. we can prolly change it for this week or next week. let me know

Hold on a second..... I'm not going to be a jackass and say that I should be able to keep all three players. Obviously, the waiver system isn't figured out right now, and the only reason i picked them up is because i thought they cleared waivers. Now that i know that they didn't, we can start over and get the waiver system in place. Right now, everyone is a free agent and can be picked up. It's under the "for owners" tab "acquire free agents." but before everyone goes and picks up players, lets get the waiver system set up. everyone please refrain from picking up anyone.. it looks like the waiver wire is not working correctly. I will clean up what has taken place so far. Thanks for understanding everyone.
