    K. Walter or Reggie Brown?

I've had my eye on Brown for a couple of years ago and believe he has the talent to be a top 20 WR at some point. I think we're seeing the start of that now. He'll have a good game against Dallas imo. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299991

Which Seattle WR? Engram or Hackett

If/when Hackett gets named the number two I think he's got potential. But he's not even a definitive starter this week. I think Engram's the better play. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=299991
  3. 10 Team League, start 1 RB, 1RB/WR, 3 WR, so you can go 4 wide with 1 RB if you want. Not PPR. I have F. Gore, K. Jones, C. Benson, J. Norwood, D. Williams at RB I have S. Smith, T. Housh, Calvin Johnson, B. Berrian, and L. Evans at WR I'm thinking of dropping Cedric for Reggie Brown who's in Free Agency. Just doesn't seem to make sense to have the same number of RB's as WR when you have to start at least one more WR every week and you have the option of going 4 wide in the right matchups. Norwood and Williams are both keeper options (we can only keep one player drafted in the 5th round or higher and the player must stay on your roster for the entire year) so I'd kind of like to keep them both and see what happens with them. So I guess the question is, do you think Reggie Brown could be more valuable than Benson for my team for the remainder of the year? Any opinions are appreciated. Post a link and I'll comment on yours.

    WR and RB Help

I wouldn't say the Bears D is "much" better than the Bengals. Cincinnati's giving up an average of about 259 yards per game to receivers, Chicago's yielding about 245. And they're both right there together at the bottom in rush defense also. The matchups, in my opinion, favor Coles. The Bengals should put up points against the Jets (who are in the bottom third of NFL defenses as well) and Pennington will be forced to chuck it a lot. The Eagles have a better chance of getting a decent lead and sitting on it. Gore and Jordan is a tough call. You gotta figure Jordan will be the man but you also have to wonder if Rhodes will get any carries, especially if Jordan struggles or his back starts bugging him. I think for that reason only I'd go with Gore.

    Flex help

I would agree with Faulk if Maroney is definitely out on Sunday. Graham if Maroney suits up at all. Just too hard to tell what the Pats are going to do with injuries. Both are early games so I'd just try to be on top of it at gametime. Faulk's in for a big week if he's the lone back in my opinion. I think Boldin definitely plays this week but as much as I like him I think I'd still go with Berrian and wait a week to see how the Cardinals situation plays out. I think Bears will have to air it out against the Eagles and even with Griese at QB I see Berrian having a good game this week. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297002

    bye weeK STARTERS...PLEASE ASSIST!

I'd go Griese and Curtis. Philly's gonna put up some points against that horrible (can't believe I'm saying this) Bears D and Griese's gonna have to air it out. That could obviously easily be a good or bad thing but I think I'd take my chances this week. Colston's tempting but Curtis is in for a big week in my opinion. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297002

    WDIS R.Brown or L.Jordan?

Gotta go with Ronnie here. Obviously the Pats have a much better rush defense than the Chiefs, but I still think you gotta play a guy that's gone over 100 yards in his last four weeks. Throw in the PPR and Brown gets the edge as well. He's got almost twice as many catches as Lamont so far. I would be tempted to play the matchup but would stick with Ronnie personally. Please help me out: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=297002

    Just Drafted Last Night...

Just want to get some unbiased opinions on where I should focus on improving before the season starts. Non-PPR, 10 teams, 14 roster spots plus an IR, standard roster with 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 RB/WR: QB: Ben Roethlisberger RB: Frank Gore RB: Cedric Benson RB: Jerious Norwood RB: Kevin Jones RB: Deangelo Williams WR: Steve Smith WR: TJ Housh WR: Calvin Johnson WR: Bernard Berrian WR: Santonio Holmes WR: Dwayne Jarrett TE: Vernon Davis K: None Yet D: Vikings D/ST The guy I'm playing didn't draft a kicker either and we agreed to not play one in the first week. After that, I'll have to pick one up. Where should I improve? QB's still out there are Delhomme, Pennington, A. Smith, Trent Green, Losman. WR's are Bruce, Jennings, Furrey. Or of course I could try and put together a trade. What do you think?
  9. Hey everyone, Just got offered a trade: Peyton Manning Cadillac Williams Frank Gore for Larry Johnson Donovan McNabb Besides Larry, my other RB's are pretty weak (best is Kevin Jones). What do y'all think?

    R. Brown/Fitz for Alexander and other options..

I would probably go for Option #2 but that's about it. If that's not possible, I would probably stand pat. You have a great team. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Flex Help

I've got to agree. Betts is definitely starting and will get all of the carries. Jacksonville just had a linebacker go down so that make JJ a little more tempting but I still go with Betts. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Rhodes, Betts, or Lundy

Gibbs have always love Betts. I'd go with him with Portis on the bench. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Joey GAlloway or Eddie Kennison

Wow, that's a tough choice. I think I'd go with Galloway just because of his preseason and the fact that Michael Clayton should take some defensive attention away. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Ask The Playmaker

Just got offered a trade: Peyton Manning Cadillac Williams Frank Gore for (My Team) Larry Johnson Donovan McNabb Besides Larry, my other RB's are pretty weak (best is Kevin Jones). What do you think - thanks for the help

    Mike Bell or Fred Taylor

I'd be tempted by both but choose Taylor in the end. Shanny is just too unpredictable. M Bell could get the start, falter on the first drive, watch T Bell score a 60 yard touchdown on the next drive, and then ride the bench the rest of the game. Too risky, go with Taylor. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Kitna or Brooks

I'd go with Kitna because I've owned Brooks a couple of years in the past and have just never been a big fan of the guy. I don't think the Raiders are going to do too well this year. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Flex Help....Leave a link!

Sorry to reiterate what everyone else is saying, but I'd go with either Duckett or Brown also. I think Philly will air it out and Gibbs has always loved Betts so I'd probably go with Brown. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=230215

    Another Flex Question

I agree - Chester and Kevin. Less warm on Taylor, though, and would probably think about starting DJax
