All reports and trumps own words support this. China and Japan dumping bonds spiking rates and if the bond market collapses the whole house of cards collapses. Trump did not want to be responsible for an entire system collapse so he folded and declared victory.

What trade deal did he negotiate? We have the same trade deals we had a week ago before he started this.

What did you tell me? I heard that this was needed to reset world trade and bring back manufacturing. None of that happened. It lasted less than a week. If anything WE told YOU what would happen. Tariffs would tank the market, Trump would get scared, declare victory and remove them. Exactly what happened.

We're still headed for a recession. If Trump caves to China and doesn't put the rest on in 90 days it should be much milder than envisioned.

That's what they have in China, Vietnam, etc. All the countries that we tariffed and said we wanted to manufacture locally.

We have factories here. Do we want sweat shops making sneakers? Do Americans want these jobs? Hardly.
