https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/29/trump-russia-asset-claims-former-kgb-spy-new-book Donald Trump was cultivated as a Russian asset over 40 years and proved so willing to parrot anti-western propaganda that there were celebrations in Moscow, a former KGB spy has told the Guardian. Yuri Shvets, posted to Washington by the Soviet Union in the 1980s, compares the former US president to “the Cambridge five”, the British spy ring that passed secrets to Moscow during the second world war and early cold war. Now 67, Shvets is a key source for American Kompromat, a new book by journalist Craig Unger, whose previous works include House of Trump, House of Putin. The book also explores the former president’s relationship with the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. “This is an example where people were recruited when they were just students and then they rose to important positions; something like that was happening with Trump,” Shvets said by phone on Monday from his home in Virginia. -

Trump is up +10 on Polymarket today. Did something big happen? No. Just Elon Musk tweeting that Polymarket is more accurate than any poll. For those that don't know polymarket is an offshore betting site popular with the crypto bros. -

https://www.donaldjtrump.com/news/2b9c56eb-718a-4420-86fd-34dc330b65a5 President Trump proposes a national contest to charter up to 10 new cities on a very small portion of federal land and award these charters to the best ideas and proposals for development. Freedom Cities will be built on federal land that is undeveloped and not part of any of our country’s magnificent national parks or other natural treasures. These cities will give hundreds of thousands of hardworking American families a new opportunity for home ownership and the American Dream. Dozens of companies in the U.S. and China are currently racing to develop vertical takeoff-and-landing vehicles to lead the next generation in air mobility. President Trump will ask Congress to provide young parents with “baby bonuses” to help launch a new baby boom. Just as the automotive revolution created extraordinary economic growth and helped link our country together, the coming air mobility revolution can transform commerce, bring an infusion of wealth into rural America, and connect families and our country in new ways. In addition to universal baseline tariffs on most foreign goods, President Trump's Strategic National Manufacturing Initiative will reclaim our economic independence from China. President Trump will revoke China’s Most Favored Nation trade status and adopt a 4-year plan to phase out all Chinese imports of essential goods—everything from electronics to steel to pharmaceuticals – bringing many of those jobs back home. President Trump will also support the construction of towering monuments to our true American heroes.

Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?
The Psychic Observer replied to The Psychic Observer's topic in The Geek Club
The rioters were chanting "Hang Mike Pence". Trump told the rioters that Pence let them down. The secret service was worried for Pence's health. Trump was told Pence was in physical danger and his response? "So what". Political violence is not funny. What are you laughing about? -

The Psychic Observer replied to The Psychic Observer's topic in The Geek Club
Donald Trump told Mike Pence to lie and join him in his criminal conspiracy to steal the election. When pence refused, he told pence he was gonna turn his mob against him causing the secret service to get concerned. The mob tried to hang pence later that day. -

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/22/hurricane-maria-puerto-rico-trump-delayed-aid https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/new-probe-confirms-trump-officials-blocked-puerto-rico-receiving-hurri-rcna749 The Trump administration delayed more than $20bn in hurricane relief aid for Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, according to a report by the housing department’s office of the inspector General. The efforts to deliver recovery funding to the island were “unnecessarily delayed by bureaucratic obstacles”, according to the 46-page report. The hurricane, which hit the island in 2017, killed thousands of people and left thousands more without electricity or water for months. One of the main hurdles was the requirement imposed by the Office of Management and Budget, which established an interagency review before grant approvals, according to a report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (Hud). The process, which was never before required for allocating disaster funds, prevented Hud from publishing its draft notice of funding by the target date. -
Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

When Trump is gone - and he will be - and Trumpism finally subsides - which it will - history will speak to the size and fervor of the cult and how easily so many were gaslit - how they embraced the most flawed cult leader ever - how they rallied around grievance just for the sake of grievance - how they railed against their own best interests and how they succumbed to such an obvious con. But - mark my words - the real unforeseen disaster that will have almost taken down the American experiment - that the history books will record as such - will not have been about Trump or the cult - it will have been our media's widespread normalization of a madman. -

Democrats teach their kids intolerance
The Psychic Observer replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Interestingg conclusion. Democrats teach their kids intolerance. It's either a purposeful lie to elicit a response or the product of severe lack of self awareness and blind loyalty on the political spectrum. It is crystal clear that between the two parties the Democrats are the more inclusive party. Just look at the two candidates. You have a white male calling for deportation of brown people, banning of Muslim people and removal of women's rights. The other candidate a woman of color who supports all people. But looking closely at the data presented in order to conclude this ridiculous falsehood of Democrats teaching intolerance you would have to start with the premise that both candidates are equally likeable and hateable. This couldn't be further from the truth. We all know that Donald Trump has been in the spotlight for over a decade and has made many enemies. He elicits a strong negative emotional response. Harris on the contrary does not. This is the likely reason why kids have a stronger negative response about trump over Harris. He is the more unlikeable candidate by every metric.
