I hear you. I just drafted Fred Davis with the 5.4. What positions are you looking at with the 5.14?
-
Thanks. lol.... I do feel good about my roster. As I told you already, I traded my 2.10 + my 09 1st & 2nd round picks to move up and get Thomas, and then traded my 3.8 & 3.10 picks to another owner for what should be early to middle 2009 2nd and 4th round picks. I then traded my 4.10 for the 5.4 & 6.2 picks. Thomas has been my only pick in this draft, so I guess you could say that I feel comfortable about my roster. I like the talent that's left. There are about 6 or 7 guys left that I'd feel comfortable drafting and half the league will be done within the next 5 or 6 picks. I will take what you said into consideration, but at this point, it's probably foolish to pass him up. I can let him sit behind Winslow and Scheffler and hope he develops. Good luck with your draft.

Matt, got a question; I don't really need a TE, but the #1 TE in your publication might still be available with my next pick in the 5th round. I Think that's way too much value to pass up. Am I missing something?
-
I'm a first time buyer, and it suprised me how detailed Matt's evaluations of each player are. Matt puts a ton of work into the RSP. I'm also about to draft a 2nd year player that was dropped to free up space for rookie picks.

Thanks. Despite Bush being a below average RB, he's still gold in this league because it's PPR. I was doing quite well starting Bush and Lewis last year at the RB position before Bush got hurt. Hill could be someone who I might be able to get cheap right now.

I like the Keller pick. You upgraded and added depth at a position. You can't go wrong doing that. Your RB's are sketchy after Westbrook. That said, a guy like Westbrook can carry you, and if Jacobs is healthy, then he should be a serviceable #2. Tampa Bay has like 8 runningbacks in camp right now, so I'm not sure what to think about Caddy. I picked Kolby Smith up in two dynasty leagues last year as well. One of the teams, I took over late last year and I'm in the process of rebuilding it, so I traded Smith to the LJ owner for three 3rd round picks and Brodie Croyle a few days ago. Are you high on Jason Hill? I don't know much about him. We start 2 RB's in the league I just drafted Thomas in as well. I don't expect more than a year or two out of Lewis, Jones and Taylor, so I'm hoping that Bradshaw and Pierre Thomas can become a serviceable #2 back in the near future. If that happens, and Devin Thomas turns out, I think my team can stay competitive for quite some time. Reggie Bush Jamal Lewis Thomas Jones Fred Taylor Ahmad Bradshaw Pierre Thomas Darius Walker

You might start a TE run. I was highest in point totals until the last week, when I messed up and started a player or two that wasn't even playing. I'm solid all the way through, but needed a WR and QB for depth. Hence, the move to get Thomas. I still have the 3.8, 3.10, & 4.10 to solidify my roster. I'm going BPA. Keller should be a decent TE, and even though I have Winslow and Scheffler, I might consider going after Keller or F Davis if they're available at the 3.8. That might be too much value to pass up. A lot can happen between the 2.6 (where we're at now) and 3.8, so we'll see.

I just gave up a little bit to get Devin Thomas who was the #1 WR on your list, as well as mine. Let's hope we're right. I started trying to trade up at the 7th spot, but no one wanted to deal. I ended working a deal out with the guy at 1.10, which is funny, because that was my pick earlier in the year before I traded it. I was surprised Thomas was still available. RB heavy in the 1st round. I ended up trading my 2.10 this year, plus my 1st and 2nd round picks next year for him. I have a good team, so the 1st and 2nd round picks should all be late picks. I don't need him to start as I have Housh, Welker, Coles and Driver to fill 3 spots. I got depth and a solid young prospect, so I'm pretty happy. The other guy needed picks to rebuild, so he was happy. Win - win.

I think Omon went to Buffalo in the 6th round. Also, Matt I've been watching Kevin Smith on youtube and I love his vision and his moves really stand out. That kid cuts on a dime. Wow.

Yeah, thanks a lot. Tons of good info.

I think you've done a nice job, and no matter what happens, I'll be more than happy to order this portfolio next year. It's a crapshoot, but I would much rather get the opinion of someone who evaluates things as they are, instead of following the hype. I purchased this because I was high on Bradshaw and either drafted him, or picked him up for all my dynasty teams last year. Jennings was also another good catch. Everyone knows the obvious players, but guys like Jennings and Bradshaw that fly under the radar make all the difference. I took over a few dynasty teams late last year and one needs a ton of work. I have 6 picks from 1.9 to 3.2, so I feel good about your evaluations maybe helping me grab a couple of #2 WR's and maybe a sleeper pick somewhere. If not, no biggy.

Any additional thoughts on Adarius Bowman with what's took place since you made your evaluation?

First time I've ever dished out money for fantasy football information, and I can tell already it's worth it. Well done. It's way better than I expected.

Packers trade Cory Williams to Browns

I really don't see how this is a stupid trade for Cleveland? The Browns are built to win now, have tons of cap money, and just got a proven player for a late 2nd round pick. The nose tackles, defensive ends left at that point would have been a crapshoot, and Savage drafts BPA, so it's not a given that he would have taken a DL in the 2nd. You're comments become more ridiculous when you claim that the Packers had 10 serviceable defensive linemen. Seriously, give us a break. -

They didn't have a GM when Butch was in town. He was the GM, Coach, Scout, waterboy....etc. etc. -
What are you basing that off of?
-
Bodden is a good guy and he's still a decent coner, but he's injury prone and appeared to be losing a step last year. Wright and McDonald are both better corners than Bodden, so he became expendable.
-
You're predicting the future of a young QB who was in his first year starting, off of a few so - so games, and one bad game down the stretch? Thank God you're not Phil Savage.
-
Berrian and Stallworth are basically the same player, except Berrian drops more passes.

I think Dayton was a lock before the injury bug hit their starting lineup pretty hard. Shame, because the A-10 had 4 legit teams. Same could be said for Pitt. I think the SEC has to be the most overrated conference right now. Cupcake pre-conference schedule. -
I've seen Lewis left off a ton of lists and at the bottom of most others. If he resigns with the Browns, he has to be an early 2nd round pick you would think?
