Um, I didn't start participating here again until this month. Where did I whine about anything before he took office, and why do you have to resort to name-calling? You're a strange little man.

The reckless abuse of these executive orders, freezing funding without regard to the damage it could cause. I mentioned before the example of a client who backed off some business with me because of the freeze on grants for her day cares for low-income families. She was moving to lay off staff and perhaps even closures. I did the research, and this thing was happening all over the nation. Then there is this whole Greenland, Panama, Gaza stuff going on. Trump is exploiting a loophole that he has spent years preparing for, and now we're headed to a constitutional crisis with our system of checks and balances falling apart in route to an autocracy. If you look at how they got there in Hungary and Venezuela, it was the same road map, and you're welcome to go look for yourself and prove me wrong. But democracy is in trouble, and our country needs two strong political parties and a healthy system of checks and balances. So that's how I got there, bruh.

I love the Smiths and saw Oasis on their first tour at a smallish venue. My buddies didn't like them, but i thought they were great and knew they'd be huge. I'm going to pop on New Order while I'm out and about here in a few.

"The Hungry Wolf" video got heavy rotation on MTV, and that's where I discovered them. I went right out and bought the first three albums. "More Fun" is my favorite.

"Ain't Love Grand" was where I bailed because it sounded obvious they were trying to make a hit record. I haven't listened to it in years. I'll have to give it another listen with fresh ears. I do love their most recent album. It's got that old flash to it. Exene looks the best she has in years. Gas prices will increase as a direct result of Trump's tariffs, executive orders and whatever other actions he takes regarding fossil fuels. The gas-price increases under Biden were a COVID-related product of supply and demand, which MAGA mooks couldn't wrap their heads around because they're too dumb and poorly educated to understand basic economics.

It wouldn't be punk rock if they showed up to accept their awards and give a speech. Fear was one of my favorite punk bands, but I don't think they belong in the HOF. I also loved the Big Boys, and maybe they should get in because they invented funk punk, leading to the Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine. X is the one who really ought to be in there. The recently put out a new album with the original lineup, and it kicks ass from start to finish.

Another band I think ought to be in is Status Quo. They never got too big in the United States, but they've sold 118 million albums, and about a half dozen of their albums are absolutely great. By comparison, Van Halen has sold 80 million albums. It's good ol' boogie rock, like Foghat, only way better.

I'm all for this. I just wish he'd leave out the part of it not happening if he were president. We'll never know that, and that just stirs up divisiveness. Move the sticks forward, bruh.

If Trump is going to ignore judge rulings, I'm fine with finding ways to ignore his executive orders.

Definitely Jethro Tull, Rory Gallagher and The Smiths. I saw Rory Gallagher as a small venue years ago. Phenominal. I think Robert Plant more than deserves to be in as a solo artist. So much more deserving than Stevie Nicks, who had one OK album and a handful of hit songs.
