My point is that mental illness among trans people is the product of growing up being exposed to the kind of hateful transphobia that you and others here obsesses over and relentlessly discuss daily. It's no different than mental illness among victims of child molestation or growing up in a violent home where daddy is a raging alchoholic who regularly beats mommy. Witnessing and/or experiencing physical and/or emotional abuse at an early age most definitely fooks up a kid who grows into an adult with mental problems. This is Pyschology 101.
