In my 12 team league, 6 teams make the playoffs. 3 teams tied at 7-7 for the 6th and final slot. The first tie breaker is head to head record and the second tie breaker is overall points scored. Here is my issue: Team A- Beat Team B (2nd overall in points scored) Team B- Beat Team C (1st overall in points scored) Team C- Beat Team A (3rd overall in points scored) The first tie breaker did not resolve anything, so that means the second tie breaker should break the tie... right? Am I over-thinking this?

I like some of the different ideas. I will probably consider some of them for next year, but for now I just moved on to the 2nd tie breaker which was total points.

I don't think that I want to put that much emphasis on the divisions and how they break down. Actually Team B gets in due to the 2nd tiebreaker (overall points scored)

You guys are right. The first tie breaker did not break the tie, so I moved on to the second tie breaker which was overall points scored. Thanks for the input

See that's interesting because Team A and Team B are in the same division.... but none of the teams are division winners.

At least that many yards and probably another score.

4th and 3 and trying to make a play to keep your team in the game. I would never put something like that on a QB. I am pretty encouraged by his performance.

One positive for the Lions is that Stafford looks really sharp. This is the best that he has thrown the ball in the last 4 or 5 weeks.

He's one tough kid. You can see him trying to stretch it out and do whatever he can to get back in their. It's easy to root for a guy like that.

Because of the reputation that they now have, it is impossible for a close call to go their way. If it's even slightly close to a penalty, then it will be called on this team every time.

That's a good point. Alabama's only loss was to the #1 team in the country who just happens to play in their conference. I think they got this one right, but I would still like to see a playoff.

yep, it's rough. The Saints WR's are unbelievable. Like the Packers WR's, they just catch everything and their QB's are good enough to put it on the money every throw... fun to watch.

penalty after penalty... it has to be from poor coaching. Although they seem to get focked a whole lot with close/borderline calls. That pass interference called on Wright was offensive pass interference, but the Lions have not earned those breaks yet.

It is really incredible how much better the entire team has played since Tebow has taken over. Just proves that one player can lift an entire team.
