  1. I actually had the 3rd pick and I went LT over the consensus Forte and Turner. I'm in a non-PPR league and it's a re-draft. I don't buy the hype on Turner and Forte as being stone-cold locks in the top 3-4 and I don't buy that LT will fade due to age this year.

  2. We'll see if it works for me this year. I drafted 2nd overall and we have PPR and we only start 2 Wr's

    ROUND

    Anderson, Derek CLE QB 7

    Schaub, Matt HOU QB 9

    Bradshaw, Ahmad NYG RB 11

    Graham, Earnest TBB RB 4

    Peterson, Adrian MIN RB 1

    Thomas, Pierre NOS RB

    Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB 6

    Engram, Bobby SEA WR 10

    Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR 2

    Johnson, Chad CIN WR 3

    Mason, Derrick BAL WR 8

    Lee, Donald GBP TE

    Winslow, Kellen CLE TE 5

    Crosby, Mason GBP PK

    Cardinals, Arizona ARI Def

    Colts, Indianapolis IND Def

  3. I have an interesting dilemma in my keeper league. Standard scoring starting 2 RB's and 2 WR's but we do get 1 pt for receptions. My current keepers:

    S. Jackson

    M. Lynch

    T. Owens

    M. Colston

    B. Marshall

Another owner has A. Petersen. Man would I like to have him but is giving up Lynch and B. Marshall too much? B. Marshall is more of a luxury for me since we only start 2 WR's. This would leave my team:

    S. Jackson

    A. Petersen

    T. Owens

    M. Colston

L Evans or S. Rice (this is a backup anyway)

  4. Pack 31

    Los Angeles Vikings 6

Besides a good bridge collapse, there aren't many things I enjoy more than a queens beat down. On the bright side, Ziggy will save a little scratch by not having to move that empty trophy case to LA.

Wow. Did you actually say that? You must be the biggest douche of all time.

  5. I'm sitting him for Ronnie Brown and L. Jordan

If LJ has a good game vs. SD I think that is the light at the end of the tunnel. His schedule really does open up soon.

made it 2-1 starting him each week although that left Brown on the bench last week  and of course a loss

Me too. Thankfully LJ's lack of production has only cost me 1 game. Now that I bench LJ I'm sure he'll explode and Brown will come back to earth.

  6. I know it's a nice problem to have but I need to pick one of these guys in a standard scoring 12 team league but we do get 1 point per reception. We start 2 RB's and 2 WR's.

They're both about the same age so I don't know how much of an issue age is for this keeper league. I'm leaning towards TO because he looks great in camp and I think the Cowboys offense is going to be solid this year. Is this the year that Harrison starts to slow down? People have been saying that for 2-3 years and he keeps producing.

I can keep 3 of these 4 players : Steven Jackson, Edgerin James, TO, and Harrison.

By estimating what RB's will be available at the 12th pick, it's pretty thin so I almost have to keep edge thus leaving me with the TO/Harrison quandry. (I can also keep a rookie so I'm keeping Colston but I'm not sure how much that would affect my decision as he would be my #3 WR)

  7. Yeah, I'm in a 17th week championship game too. I really like my chances with Bulger, S. Jackson, M. Harrison, and T.O as my main weapons. I think STL will light up the Vikings this week (and I'm a Vikings fan!). Just found out Smoot is done for the year. Wow is Bulger going to have a field day! I get a point per reception too.

  8. About 4 weeks ago I traded L. Jordan, D. Mason, and Brad Johnson for M. Bulger (My starting QB's at the time were Plummer and Johnson)

About 6 weeks ago I traded S. Smith for S. Jackson and T. Owens (My starting WR's before the trade were Harrison, Smith, and Colston but my RB's were C. Taylor and L. Jordan or E. James)

Got Colston off the waiver wire.

I think these 2 trades saved my season. We get a point per reception too:

    Roster Before Roster After

    QB Plummer QB Bulger

    RB Jordan RB Jackson

RB C. Taylor RB C. Taylor

WR S. Smith WR T. Owens

    WR Harrison WR Harrison

    WR Colston WR Colston

  9. A couple of weeks ago I traded S. Smith for S. Jackson and T. Owens. I'm in a keeper league and we get a pt per reception. It may seem like I screwed that giy but his team was stacked with LJ and and LT so Jackson was just a backup for him.

  10. This keeper league gives a point per reception and we start 2 RB and WR's. Both parties have great teams but I'm actually thinking of the future since I can keep 3 players each year and 2 players with 2 years or less experience. (I Kept James, Jordan, and Smith last year.)

Here's the offer: I give up S. Smith and he gives up T. Owens and either S. Jackson or R. Brown.

I'm leaning towards taking the offer (R. Brown and T. Owens). My rationale is that Jordan will most likely not be a keeper next year so I'm thin at keeper RB. James and Brown would be a solid keeper core and maybe Taylor can be a bonus.

    My Team:

    James, Edgerrin ARI RB

    Jordan, Lamont OAK RB

    Pittman, Michael TBB RB

    Taylor, Chester MIN RB

    Berrian, Bernard CHI WR

    Colston, Marques NOS WR ®

    Harrison, Marvin IND WR

    Mason, Derrick BAL WR

    Smith, Steve CAR WR

    Williamson, Troy MIN WR

    Thoughts?

  11. He was on Mike & Mike this morning and they asked him if he was playing this weekend and he kind of hesitated and said, "I don't know yet."

Take it for what it's worth but he did stress numerous times during the interview that he would not return until he was sure he wouldn't re-injure himself.

  12. I'd like to know if there's any updated info on DJax. I'm in the middle of a keeper league draft and I might have a chance to snag him as my #1 backup. I may take the safe route and draft Rod Smith. DJAx really broke my heart last year. Such a good start.

  13. I have a pretty solid dynasty team except my Wr's are lacking. I drafted Leinart in our rookie draft this year but was basically a value draft pick since all the good rookie RB's were taken. Our teams are below. Do you think this is a wise trade? I'm trying to win this year.
