  1. Traded him prior to week 6 game along with Maclin for D. Adams, L. Miller, and D. Martin. Lost OBJ and wanted to spread out the bullets somewhat. If Hunt got hurt my season was shot. The Rodgers injury certainly didn't help me much. We shall see. My trade partner owns Bell.

  2. After finally getting laid the preoccupation of standing behind all the offensive linemen in those compromising positions is just to much for him. Time to change positions. Middle linebacker is out of the question. I should have seen this coming. Damn this guy is killing me.

Seriously what the hell is going on???

  3. Kubiak wouldn't bite on whether Hillman should be the team's No. 1 back. Hillman has looked the most comfortable in the new offense throughout training camp, the preseason and now a month into the regular season.

All Kubiak would offer was to say "we're going to play both," as he pointed out they split the carries Sunday, 11 each for Hillman and C.J. Anderson.

Sounds like Anderson and Hill man going to get the same amount of carries, Hillman still need to show more to take the starting job.

Do we take Kubiak at his word here? I remember lots of talk, based on his history, that he is a bell cow guy. Will he truly change his philosophy because he can't decide who to feature? It seems pretty clear to everyone, except Kubiak, that Hillman is the more productive RB and that's really all that matters. If he decides to split carries evenly then neither guy has much value to us due to the pretty crappy run game Denver has shown. Both RB have proven to be able to handle a full load and with that things change and value is there.

  4. also, this is part of it too...

everyone except NE is stupid... dumb... from you with your 4 O-linemen on defense to Eli and his "don't score" plan to Pete Carrol throwing it on the 1, to Mike Tomlin using the sneaky 10 defensive players formation and not covering Gronk...

Everyone in the NFL, except for Belichick and NE, is stupid - they do stupid stuff, they make stupid plays, they call stupid plays, they manage the clock stupidly, they say stupid stuff before the game, they say stupid stuff after the game - and NE just waits for you to be stupid and then jams your stupidity up your azz.

Yesterday in BUF, the Guinness book of world records was there - The Bills set the record for most stupid penalties, the kind that are basically turnovers. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

Why are you calling me stupid? As far as I can tell you are the only one that didn't recognize my original post was hyperbole (you might want to look that word up).

  5. Why can't anyone figure out how to stop the Pats. offense? It seems like 90% of their pass plays are within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage. It's been going on for years and no one can stop it. It drives me nuts. What gives?

Here's a suggestion. I would take 4 offensive lineman and put them on defense. I would line them up on the line of scrimmage directly in front of Edelman and Gronk and tell them to block. Next I would take 4 more offensive lineman and put them 5 yards behind these guys in case the first 2 miss their blocks. I don't really care what you do with the other 3 guys you have on defense just so long as you stop that damn 4 yard pass.

  6. I just posted this earlier. I do believe Cooper looks pretty darn good too. The problem is he plays for the Raiders. They look like they may have improved some. It looks like they will have redzone problems.

I feel "Juice" Landry deserves more props also. The guy caught 84 balls last year and most of that was coming on late. He has been the apple of Tannehill's eye this off season. Tannehill hit 80% of his preseason passes and looked great. The guys hitting his deep passes alot better this year in camp too. I would say hes a lock for 100 catches and could easily get close to 10 TD's as he has been a favorite of Tannehill's in the redzone this preseason. I feel he's a lock as a solid WR2 this year.

Dennis Miller tweeted today that he thinks the Raiders for the last 10 years have had the patch over the "good eye".

  7. I just drafted from the #1, almost the same scoring and I took AP. I mocked for a while but never did one for anything but RB except for Luck(6 points all TD's). I took AP mostly for safety purposes. Just want a guy most likely to be top 5 at the RB position. I would never consider a WR in the top half of round 1 because there is about a million of them.

  8. Is the Bills stadium next to a train depot? ###### that's annoying

No trains, that's a new stadium horn. Yeah we're idiots here in Buffalo, we live in Buffalo don't we. I hope no one takes anything away from this crap I'm watching. Both defenses are horrible. Guys wide open, missed assignments, missed tackles, loads of missed communication. This isn't even a legitimate scrimmage game.

  9. Can't do it, at least not in round 1. I know he was great after week 10 last year but I can't get past what happened in weeks 1-9. He was beaten out in camp by Ball (kinda sucks) who goes down with a groin in week 5. Wait he wasn't just beat out by Ball he was beat out by Hillman too. If you remember after Ball went down Hillman came in and was killing it until week 10 when he got hurt. Then they go to Anderson. Last season he was evaluated by the same staff to be their 3rd string guy and hardly sniffed the field until 2 guys got hurt. I don't trust him, I'll pass.

  10. 12 team, 1PPR, redraft, all tds 6 pts

    League rank

    Luck. 9

    Keenum. 17

    Forte. 1

    Charles. 2

    Spores. 17

    K. Davis. ?

    Marshall. 6

    Cruz. 9

    Hilton. 14

    Amendola. 64

    Cameron. 3

    Carlson. 38

    Gano. 15

    Carolina d. 5

    Arizona d. 8

This team is on a roll. Last 7 games I am 1-6 and I'll be lucky to make the playoffs. What are ya gonna do about it? That's just how it is.

  11. 12 team redraft, full PPR, all TDs 6 pts. Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, flex (WR/RB). I rarely draft a QB early and this was no exception. Drafted out of the 10 hole.

    1. Charles - Yeah I don't know how he fell here but it makes things easy. 10 RB's taken in round 1.

    2. Forte - passed on Brees who went next pick. Rodgers was gone at 2.1.

    3. Sproles - wasn't planning on 3 RB in a row but had to do it. MJD was also available. Top WR's gone.

    4. Cruz - Vjax went pick before this. Best available.

    5. Amendola - yikes. Prob only good for a couple quarters before he's hurt. Better get some backups.

    6. Luck - 10th QB off the board and the 2 teams without one have 2 picks before I draft again. Better grab one now. Agonized over Luck or Wilson. Went with the guy who's offense runs through him. Fingers crossed.

    7. Hilton

    8. Tate

    9. Bears D

    10. Cameron

Bunch of backups. Hope this helps.

  12. 12 team redraft. The guy 8th in overall points wins the league. He won his last game by 1 point to get into the playoffs on a tiebreaker. The kicker is he would have been beaten by every playoff team, every week, except for the guy he was playing. Now I know pocket aces get cracked once in a while, but 3 times in a row? Yeah there's lots of luck involved in our pastime. Unbelievable.

  13. I am hoping they sit him this week. I would rather start a healthy Freeman and hope that the skins let RGIII get completely healthy with a week of rest and be ready for the fantasy championship game but I don't think Shanahan is listening to me.:wall:

Same boat here. That Freeman matchup is sweet.

  14. Who was saying this? Surely not anyone you want to take advice from.

I read lots of different forums and I'm sure this one had lots of questions about Sea D. and their CB suspensions. The concerns about their mediocrity were confirmed by my league stats. Here I found them on the wire, ranked right in the middle, and their scoring in the 3 weeks prior to putting up 49 on Ari. was 0, 10' and 0. Did you see a lot of guys rolling with Sea the last month? It's like the bears right now. You trust them?

  15. Yeah, but those teams were the Falcons, Rams, Jets and Seahawks...with 3 of those games on the road.

Each of these teams has a better defense then Detroit.

It looks juicy, but I see middle of the road. Somehow Detroit always ends up in a shootout... The last game they didn't give up at least 24 points was vs. Jac in week 9 and they only scored 11 points in my league. I would expect about the same.

Much of this comes down to league scoring. In our league the Def. scores only with sacks, turnovers, and TD from Def or special teams ( it's really pretty lame ). If your using score and/or yardage totals my opinion might change, I haven't looked into it since I'm out in my league that uses these numbers. Really I'm just looking for mistakes, the more the merrier and I think it would be pretty difficult for Ari to come out of this with less then 2 turnovers.

  16. Why is the hype high? Did you not see what Seattle did to Arizona last week? Granted, Seattle's defense is by and far better than Detroit's, but still...

    Exhibit A (to start Det D): Seattle D - Week 13

Exhibit A (to not start Det D): Pitt D - Week 10 (decent but not game-changing)

I'm by no means sold on Detroit this week, but they do seem like a medium risk/high reward play.

I'd go one step further and say Det is a low risk/high reward play this week. I mean what are the chances they put up a stinker? In our league over the last 3 weeks Ari has allowed 85 points to opposing defenses. The next weakest team has allowed 58. I dumped Sea D. for them and I'm the favorite by a long way. I read a lot of this same talk last week about how lousy Sea D. was in recent games. We all know what happened. I think people are trying to talk themselves out of this, and anything can happen, but it would surprise me if Ari all of a sudden found a way to play mistake free football.
