Austin Sefarian Jenkins or Larry Donnel?
I'm leaning Donnel since I'm starting Eli this week...
-
^ Yes, 6 points for all TD's.

Just finished picking 12th in a 12 team league ppr.
Players in order:
Julio Jones
Drew Brees
Larry Fitzgerald
CJ Spiller
Pierre Thomas
Chris Johnson
Danny Woodhead
Dwayne Bowe
DeAndre Hopkins
Cam Newton
Rams DEF
Antonio Gates
Dennis Pitta
Robert Turbin
Matt Bryant
RB's are light in the loafers, but tried to target guys that were more in involved in the passing game.

The Raiders dude... The Raiders... Let's not jump off the bridge quiet yet. He's doing quite well, considering the Raiders have had one of the better pass defense over at least the past 2 seasons.
-
Roger Craig isn't sweating, but I think Bush has the potential to do it some day.Marshall Faulk went 1000/1000 in 1999.

Oh, so it doesn't count then.LOL!!!
I had to go check to see how many games he played, 12. He had 22 TDs in 12 games!
-
Jerry Rice only had 65 receptions that season. completely unreal.Moss has 47 and 11
To add to that, Jerry Rice had that record setting 22 TD performance in a strike shortened season in 1987.

I've been thinking about offering this KC homer in my league LJ/player to be determined for Holt/Rudi. Curious if anyone Cincy homers have any insight? Thanks!
-
Tough crowd, huh?
Well, I'm not one to veto, I say let the trade go thru, speaking from week 2 before week 3 of course. Each MANager is responsible for his own roster MANagement.
-
It's official. Larry Johnson does not care about me.
-
Thats just great.
I know he's playing the Chargers, but I had this down as "The week that LJ is relevant to my team" Week.
He better still play sunday.

Anyone hear anything on the latest for Calvin Johnson? I've been searching ( at work, so time permmintting ) and I have not seen anything yet. I suppose no news is good news?
-
I probably shouldn't be on this site. I just read an article on MSNBC that companies lose $500 million a week in lost productivity because of Fantasy Football!!!
-
Someone please create an interesting thread. I realize I may have just jinxed myself into some unplanned work, but oh well.
Right now, this is me at work.
If someone tries to give me sh!t to do

After 2 weeks my team has sucked so bad it is flat out pathetic. 0-2 and lowest point total in my league by far. It aint even close. Hell, 3 teams have doubled my teams output so far. Go ahead, rip away, I deserve it. Must be time to retire from this madness!QB- VYoung
RB- JAddai
RB- MJD
RB- RBrown
WR-LEvans
WR-RBrown
TE- VDavis
K- MStover
D- Miami
Fortunately I drafted LJordan late, picked up Curry, McDonald, EJohnson off waivers, and also grabbed KJones so there is a smidgeon of hope. Other pine riders include DBennett, Foster, Betts.
Have fun drafting in your 4 man league?
Just kidding, I just wanted to say that one time to see how it felt.
Honeslty though, my fantasy football team is now worse for having to look at your fantasy team.
It does seem like you reached a little with your draft though. And it doesn't look good on paper, but "You play to win the game. You dont just play to play"
-
Is it the freakin' hard to ignore a stupid post and get to the point about bitchin about it......Does it hurt your eyes........Skip and move on -
Come fellas. Ever heard of "First time, long time"
Besides, I'm a Rams homer, and Bulger WILL turn it around, starting this week!
Line: 27-38 for 346 yards, 4 TD's, 0 INT.
Go Rams Go!
-
Ya, and I'm not saying you personally post stupid crap. Just saying. Every poster here should think these two things before starting a topic:Does this post make me seem like I play in a Free Yahoo league?
Does this post make me seem like I play in a 4 man league with my mom and 2 sisters?
If people did this before posting, then we wouldn't have to ask.
Oh I know, I was just kidding. But I can definetly see that posters that have been around longer than me have a right to excersize this phrase.
-
If you don't want that response, then don't post stupid crap about your 4 man or free yahoo league. We don't care that someone dropped Fred Taylor or Brandon Jacobs to the waiver wire, because this NEVER would happen in a real league. We don't care that you have FWP, LT, Holt, AND Peyton all on one team, because this would NEVER happen in a real league. (dynasty, keeper excluded)
See, the point is, don't post stupid crap and you won't get stupid responses.
Well I personally never post stupid crap Perhaps this post is my first though
-
Thats not how I envisioned the responses to go...in my mind
-
Why is it always necessary to follow up someones post about their teams with "So, was drafting in a 4 man league with 12 olds fun"
That's bush league. Not that I post much here to have a say so, but, I like to come here to read input and advice. It seems like that type of comment is in every other freaking post. What's the deal with that? If it's the cool thing, I apologize, I'm in the minority.
Also, I'm pretty sure someone will also post a link with "This topic has been discussed already, use the search function"
I'm not trying to piss and moan, but hell, I guess I am. It just really gets old. Now, some of the other original trash talk, I find quite funny.

Any word on LJ's injury?Oh dont start that sh!t! LOL

Here is a thread that I started at the beginning of the week ---http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...p;#entry3297462
Some pretty good insight in there that you should check out.
I'm in the same situation, and I'm also 2-0 (12 team Redraft)
But my RB2 happened to be Brandon Jacobs - I was in serious trouble.
I was able to get Derrick Ward off of waivers, so that helped me out alot. Luckily the rest of my team has been able to bail me out. Tony Romo, LJ, Brandon Jacobs, Steve Smith, Roy Williams looked great on paper...
But needless to say, I've had a few problems.
So I was is alot of discussions to trade off Larry Johnson, but the more time passed, the more I think that I've passed through the hard part - especially with both Larry Johnson struggling and B. Jacobs getting hurt. So I've decided to keep him.
I think it will pay off in the end. I've decided that I don't just want a playoff team, because if LJ starts to perfrom anywhere close to what he's done the last couple of years - then I have a potential super bowl winner.
So anyway, since you are 2-0 - I say stick with him. Unless you can get someone like Travis Henry, Joe Addai, or Farnk Gore for him (which I seriously doubt) my advice is to keep him.
Thanks Henry. Your post made me feel alot better about this. I think I will keep him...now, if I can just unload JJ or Fragile...hmmmm
-
It's still early, but Addai and Gore look to be on playoff bound teams with pretty good offenses (Indy = great offense).KC looks to be top 3 overall pick bound. LJ's value right now might be lower than it was during his hold out.
Any hopes for an LJ turnaround, or will we just watch the Addai and Gore owners cruise into the playoffs and leave us LJ owners behind?
The Optimus Prime in me says he'll get things going, as early as this week against Minny. I dont want to get into what the Pessismimsisimitimtisss in me thinks.

I think your RB game is good enough to offset the loss of Miller. I would take it.
