Everyone, I would like to apoligize for my disappearing act the last week and a half. As I might have mentioned, I just started a new job (with freaky hours) and had family down. I've been working 16+ hour days and then coming home to the family (from hell). I have reset the rosters and set up the waiver wire (to reflect the correct waiver wire order). The waiver wire is now open, but I won't process waivers until wednesday (at 2:00am -- after I get home from work). I am waiting until then so everyone has a chance to make any moves. After the first waiver wire process, I will again process waivers the following wednesday at the same time (the day before the start of the season). Again, I am sorry I dropped of the face of the earth. And yes, for those of you that care, I (and my family) are fine. Just been real busy the last couple weeks. I think after we get through the first few weeks of the season, I will be looking for someone to take over some of the duties of commish (so let me know if you are interested). good night (and if you check the time stamp, it's 4:30ish and I got home from work about an hour ago).

at your rosters. And let me know if you see any mistakes. I will correct anything (if it is wrong) thursday night after work (which will be early friday morn).

Everyone, I boosted the roster limits up to 24 so I could process trades, but everyone needs to cut down to the limit of 20 (by monday). Monday, after I get off work I am going to put the limit back down to 20 and if you are over I will just start dropping your 3rd kicker, 3rd def, 2nd kicker, 2nd def, 20th wr, 19th wr, etc (until you are within the limit). As of right now, the following owners need to make drops Miller : drop 4 DDX : drop 3 Shovelhead : drop 3 Seattle : drop 3 Fl. Boppers : drop 1 Mass : drop 3 and I just dropped 2.

Won't waiting till Sunday morning be a little late during the season? You won't know who you have on your team till Sunday Morning? Shouldn't this be done at least by Wednesday morning? This will be everyone 2 days to make and requests. I agree. Waiting until Sunday to see if you get a FA doesn't leave much time for a Plan B. OK, I really don't have a preference. IT is up to you guys. Just let me know.

Bill are you exempt from the timer?
Lord of the flies replied to bigtuna's topic in FSA Dynasty - Landry
Tuna for as much sh!t that comes out of your mouth, you sure don't read well! This info was posted yesterday that there has been no timer the entire draft so far. Everyone else is predrafted, Bill is obviously away (he took a comp pick in Shula), so as soon as he gets back the draft will finish. Not a huge rush. So some of uspicked with a timer and some of us didn't that makes sense we got to get crap like this cleared up in the future because it has been complete chaos for months. for now on, we needf to move to 5 minute timer because the rules as theyu sit now favor the commish and people who work with a computer all day. That's bullsht. The timer has not been turned on yet. I meant to turn it on on friday but forgot. YOU are confusing leagues. No one in the landry league has drafted with the timer on. -
I picked the 3.08 pick for Hoos First.....

Everyone, It looks like there is still problems with the draft date. So, I have an idea. As soon as I get the rest of the keepers, I will open up the draft and everyone can select their player when they have time (and access) but I won't turn the timer on until August 7th. Then on the 7th the timer will be on and set for 6 hours. The timer will be on all the time. How does that sound??
-
so if Jetdoc picks at 3AM if i don't pick by 4AM i get passed over? Do you think the clock is a little strict? What if someone has to work all day of the draft? no. sorry, i meant to put in a 6 hour limit. that is what it will be.
-
Everyone, The draft is scheduled to start 08Aug03. Since we are only drafting 4 rounds, the time limit will be 6 hours. editted to change timer to 6 hhours, i thought that was what i put originally.

Lombardi (& Landry) League waiver procedures and start date
Lord of the flies posted a topic in FSA Dynasty - Lombardi
Guys, I apoligize for dropping the ball this weekend. I have all kinds of family down here, just found out the sex of my 1st kid and started a new job. Anyway, the waiver wire criteria is listed below. The waiver wire will open up this friday at noon (est) after I have had time to verify that everything else is correct. In the meantime, I am going to drop any players that anyone picked up (and also get my roster down to 24). 1. Overall Winning percentage 2. Head to head record 3. Divisional Winning Percentage 4. Total points scored 5. Reverse order of opponent total points scored. edited to add head to head record in waiver wire tiebreakers -

Everyone, Since it doesn't look like I can set up a draft date that works for everyone how does this sound. I open up the draft now (with the timer OFF) and you draft when you can. I propose that we draft like that until August (Lombardi is the 1st and Landry is the 8th) and then the timer is turned on (6 hour limit). We are only drafting 4 rounds, there is no reason for anyone to miss a pick or feel rushed. How does this sound?? ps. by the way, we already started drafting in lombardi (with the timer off). edit to correct the date -- I put August 22nd (which is the date of the Halas draft).
