    you did help me so i will help you. i agree with your rbs but i would not be afraid 1 bit of playing all of the indy players. manning will throw for 4 tds against the depleted seattle def.

     

    there are sometimes you need to be afraid to play so many from 1 team but this is not 1 of them. NO WORRIES.

     

    1 more thing if you coiuld. go back to my question and explain to me how in the world you get the link on the board for us to click to get to your question if you could. thx.

    i would go thomas, denver has 2 starting off. lineman injured, 1 doubtful and 1 question plus buckhalter getting more and more carries.

     

    as for wrs, that is tough. i think i go t.o. they are going to make every effort to get him the ball this week. good luck

    THATS BETTER WONDER.

    WITH QBS GETTING 6 POINTS, THEY WERE GOING REALLY QUICK AND I WAS JUST TAKING THE BEST RBS AND WRS.

    we play 2 qbs and all tds are worth 6 points. i have great depth so i could afford to give up fitz and jacobs .

     

    I NEEDED A QB BAD

     

    i traded fitz,jacobs and palmer for tj housh, grant, and p. manning

     

    my team was fitz now tj, megatrn,colston,ochocinco,and harvin. as you can see i still have stud wr's

     

    rbs was jacobs now grant, barber,turner,f.jones, bradshaw

     

    qbs was palmer now manning,favre,quinn,snchez.

     

    so you can see i stiil have studs at the wr and rb position but i was in troube at the qb position, but not anymore.

     

    i have studs EVERYWHERE

    i traded palmer, fitz, and jacobs for p. manning, gates , and grant. now hear my reasoning because on the surface it seems like to much.

     

    here is my roster and as you can see , i have great depth and could afford to give up fitz and jacobs for another good running back, a FLEX player, yes i can use gates as a flex and the most important, i got my stud qb that i needed badly. now i have studs at ALL positions.

     

    qb- was palmer now manning, favre,quinn, sanchez . by the way we play 2 qbs , ALL tds worth 6 pts

     

    wr- was fitz, still have megatron, colston, ochocinco, harvin

     

    rb-was jacobs now have grant, barber, turner, bradshaw,charles

     

    te- gates, winslow can use gates as a flex and still play winslow at te while still playing 2qb, 2rb, 3 wr, 1 flex, whether it be a rb,wr, or te, and 1 te.

     

    my ONLY weakness was at qb and i covered it and because of my depth , still have very good wrs.

    i have lot's of depth but i was in trouble at QB

    6 points all tds and we can play a flex to include a TE, WR or another RB

    have to play 2 rbs and 3 wrs plus that flex.

     

    i traded palmer,fitz,and jacobs for p. manning, grant, and gates. remember i can use gates as my flex along with 3 wrs still.

     

    it seems like alot but with my depth and questions at qb, i felt i needed to make this trade. i now have a stud at qb and still have studs at all positions.

    i have been in a great money legue with friends over the years but last year it disbanded.

    i entered another league with a freind but know no one else.

    i have realized over the last 2 years that half are decet owners the other half are deadbeats and there are only 2 that will even discuss trades.

    i will let you know now that i will trade almost anyone and do not get offended by bad offers as long as i feel they are legit and not someonebeing a smarty pants.

    i make lots of offers and the people in this league always think i am trying to pull the wool over their eyes because all they look at is players instead of byes, schedules, neds and whatever else you and they may need to improve their team.

    anyway, i am hoping someone contacts me so i can start a team to join for the long term and get to know people over the computer.

    i can and do join the CBS and ESPN leagues but am looking for a more personal league.

    i am a serious owner with great integrity. will NEVER purposely disrespect anyone or try and embarrss for ANY reason.

     

    i do talk trash, RESPECTFULLY and talk alot on the message board.

    you can also leave some info here.

     

    i know it is early but hopefully some of you are looking to fill a spot early and once i commit i will not back out.

    there is always going to be drama and as a commish you just have to deal with it or just give it up.

    if you love it that much just know then the decisions you make are based on your integrity and you cannot go wrong as long as you know it is intake even if a decision may go against you. you have nothing if you do not have your integrity and you cannot be counted on when you are expected to be.

     

    as far as the other idiot, that is not drama, that is ignorance.

    GET RID OF HIM. he loses all money and it get's moved to next in line. PERIOD.

    i was offered LT and wes welker for barber and kevin walters. the trade was vetoed. i have no dout that this trade would have never been vetoed had this guy not manipulated the situation the way he did. no trades have ever been vetoed in this league.

     

    now i had been trying to get LT all year and finally the guy got sick of him when he blew a tire against KC i guess.

     

    when he saw that romo was coming back he then made me the offer for barber and i accepted knowing what his upcoming schedule was.

     

    well, his dad gets on the message board and says he has to look out for his buddy and starts going over the schedule and telling everyone how they should object this trade becaus LT has such an easy schedule and barbers is like running through a brick wall.

    i got mad a said that was bush league and shows no integrity that you would go on a big board and manipulate vetoes because of sceduling.

     

    in my opinion, no way was this an unfair offer nor was it collusion and regardless of what they thought about scheduling, this was not a trade that should have been vetoed.

     

    p.s. after some strong words the commish came on and said he vetoed also because of the scheduling and didn't see a problem with that guy going on and stating the reason why he vetoed.

     

    curious to see if i am wrong thinking the way i am thinking

    smart owner trying to be smarter than you.

     

    just the fact that you are even asking shows that he is a shark playing with fish.

     

    no disrespect because it is a legitimate question but he definately see's the wall coming and then see the hard matchup then the bye for forte and 1oo + and 2 scores and no bye for johnson.

     

    be smart and keep AJ, you should get more for him .

    if not a better back then certainly an equal back and another WR.

     

    i wouldn't even trade forte straight up enen if he weren't going to hit the wall. just the fact of what you said about the minny matchup and then the bye is very astute.

    your right, your losing 2 weeks basically.

     

    AJ is worth no less than barber , portis, LT, those RBS.

     

    i would gpout on a limb and say i wouldn't even trade him straight up for r. brown .

    i have to play 3 WRS between b. edwards VS.@ N.Y.G, m.harrison VS. @ G.B., m. colston VS @ CAROL. , and s. holmes VS. @ CINCY.

     

    i want to play colston but i am wondering should i wait till after his 1st game back because he may be a little rusty and it is againsty the # 2 pass def. at that.

     

    so should i sit him and go with holmes, harrison, and edwards?
