Top 5 overrated players in 2006

using this scoring system (my leagues scoring system) Vick finished with 2001 = 71 2002 = 299 2003 = 66 2004 = 241 2005 = 239 239 points put him at #7 among QBs. in 2005 With Vick you can see you always run the risk of significant lost time. He's had one good Fantasy year. Not enough for me to risk a top draft pick on him when I can have just as capable QBs later in the draft

Colts possibly 1st pick in draft !

most of the mock drafts had him going to Indy for weeks. Long before Edge was actually released it was pretty much assumed he wouldn't be a Colt in 2006 Maroney is a real nice fit for the system 4(4). Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota - Could end up with the best situation of the top 4 RBs. Maroney’s hamstring kept him from working out at the combine, so we’ll have to wait to see how his numbers stack up. Indianapolis comes up frequently in speculation about his possible home. He’s firmly in the 4 spot and I wouldn’t argue with him at 2 if he lands in Indy. Maroney is not polished enough to be an everydown RB and needs to work on blocking and receiving. Upside: Edgerrin James Downside: Tatum Bell CREDIT: Bloom

OAKs QB next year, who's it going to be?

The Raiders should just sit on their arse and wait for every FA QB to be signed. That should solve their QB situation

Green Bay, Dallas, NYJ, and Oakland should look long and hard at Joey

I can see that. The disclaimer is a good idea. I just don't want to see a bunch of posts about "looking for a league" popping up on this board as the season approaches.

Chris Chambers Will Catch For 5,000 Yards.

But he's not afraid to throw to a covered WR. Chanbers should be able to win some jump balls and battle for position. I expect a good season from Chambers

Why is every MNF country themed?

================ I really can't believe that it isn't obvious to everyone here. It's all about image. Image for both ABC and the NFL. Everyone flipped a brick over the TO / Desperate Housewives skit and that was completely tame. Then they try and put a pop star on center stage and she flashes her teet. Neither the NFL or ABS (Disney) can afford to tarnish their image, so they bring in country music stars. Country music stars are as clean cut as you get in the music industry. They write songs about family, and childhood sweethearts. Their stars host countless benefits concerts, make guest appearances on Extreme Home Makeover, and actually sing without the crutch of a sound studio. I don't even need to describe the alternate Hip Hop / R&B / Alternative lifestyle. Country music is by far the perfect fit for Corporate NFL.
