    A TWO Roster Question

Driver and Mason L2 Sims Walker and White L1

    RB and WR Help

I would go with Harvin (Favre has been throwing so much lately), and Moreno (Forte has had some good matchups all year and rarely has done anything good with them. Moreno has been steadily rising every week and the Chiefs are just as good a matchup at St. Louis.)

    trade deadline question

I agree...stick with what you have. Jennings has shown a flash here and there and Ricky is now one of the top 5-10 RBs in fantasy. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=358471

What NFL Commentator cliche irritates you the most?

Since when did TV ANNOUNCERS become analyst. Just call the game the way people on the radio have to call the game. Get off every players jock and call the game. I don't want your analysis, your corny jokes, your thoughts about what he or she said, your in game interviews, your halftime inerviews... JUST CALL THE GAME

What NFL Commentator cliche irritates you the most?

"He's just a kid playing football" has always bothered me. No, he is not a kid. He is an adult man around the same age as some of the announcers who are saying it about him. If I told my friend, in a gleefully cheery way, that he plays like a kid having fun -I would get AND DESERVE a kick in the nuts. I also hate the way "swagger" is thrown around.

    James Casey..worth a start?

Thanks to this thread, I started Davis over Pettigrew. While I was also changing my lineup last second, I also replaced Greg Jennings with B.Scott! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, from reading everyone's comments, I am sure there were a few other Pettigrew owners who followed this advice. Lets just hope Davis at least gets a few points.

Interesting situation with unpaid teams. WWYD?

No pay = no playoffs This happened one time when my sister's boyfriend was in my league. They broke up half way through and he was in the middle of the standings. I emailed him over several weeks for him to pay or I would have to DQ him from any playoff spot. He never responded. My sister tried to ask him for it but he didn't respond to her. He ended finishing good enough for the #6 playoff spot but I kicked him out and let the next best team in. I ended up putting up the money for his team in order to not screw the owners who paid all year.

    Pick my starters!

Pos Player Pts Opp RB Chester Taylor 46.90 @GNB Adrian Peterson 141.80 @GNB Pierre Thomas 60.00 ATL Ray Rice 121.10 DEN Donald Brown 50.50 SFO WR Mike Sims-Walker 69.80 @TEN Anquan Boldin 58.80 CAR Roddy White 96.00 NOR Donnie Avery 46.40 @DET Michael Crabtree 8.10 @IND I need to pick 5 (2 wr, 2 RB, 1 flex) of these guys. 0.5 PPR, 0.1 per yard receiving or rushing, 6 pts per TD. I included what each player has scored this year in my league Leave a link for yours and I will answer
  12. Milwalkeysbeast

LT Ray Rice or Ronnie Brown

I want to say Rice, but look at what the Jets did to the Raiders this past week... I say go with LT. Rice may get a few TDs vultured from him http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355434
  13. Thats what I am saying...if you had waited on a QB, you would have more depth at WR and RB.
  14. How'd that work out for you this week?
  15. Milwalkeysbeast

Whatever happened to .... Trung Canidate?

    Curtis Enis Jim Everett
  16. I didn't pick a QB until Trent Edwards and I'm doing pretty good. I am 1-1, but lost the first week by 0.2 points. There will always be QBs available if you play it by matchup. You figure once BYE weeks go through, alot of the people who backed up their top QBs will be available in a trade. I dont have Brees, but if someone offered me ADP for him straight up, I would do it in a heartbeat. QBs are overrated. Its week 2. Things will revert back to what they do every year - RBs and WRs. Its easy to be elated when your stock is high.

I really drafted a hunk of sh1t team..

Nice catch. Beast was great in college

I really drafted a hunk of sh1t team..

YEah, why do you have FIVE mediocre, if not worse, QBs? Just because you bought cheap beer, doesn't mean you buy more to compensate. Drop 3 QB's (i'd keep garrard and hasselback) and pick up a few RBs and Wrs. Or trade the QB's...do something
  19. Milwalkeysbeast

    Ruined Fantasy LEAGUE!?!

Wayne is better than Braylon - at least drafted before him. The other trade is lopsided...but not TEam 2 likes the RBs he got. I see no collusion
  20. Milwalkeysbeast

    Jones-Drew

I just have a feeling MJD will not make it through the season healthy. Who is the handcuff to have? Jax homers? Would Greg Jones be the man?
  21. Milwalkeysbeast

    Jones-Drew

    Or the next Nostradumbass

    Jones-Drew

Holy crap - I don't know if the thread was made before the injury, but i did not know about it when I originated the post.

    fanball sucks

I agree...ESPN has been pretty good for the 2 leagues I am using it... I still use RT sports for my league that I run, as I have used them for about 8 years and love them

    Harry Kalas

This is truly a sad day for baseball and for sports in general. Kalas brought so much knowledge and passion to the game of baseball. Listening to his voice call the Phillie's games was great and Philadelphia and all of the sports world will surely miss him. He is timeless.
