Well not without some justification, I don't think it unreasonable that a person who becomes a president think before they speak. I just read his "apology". You'll notice the "professor" in the story is still defiant...I'll give Obama a bit of a pass, but he really is going to need to do a better job of losing his association with the Rev. "White-hater" and Professor "Prejudice" than he did in this situation.

What were the cited reasons for the stop? Either way, I'm sure they are just warming up for when the environmental czar gives the order to harass all persons driving a gas guzzler. I won't disagree with any person of minority status that they are targets in many municipalities and sometimes for no other reason than their racial heritage, but in this particular case, the man (Gates) completely overstepped his boundaries for no other reason than he is a liberal college professor who has the ability to claim racism when there was none. This case is almost as believable as a street hooker claiming rape when a "John" didn't pay.

There is talk about releasing Holt as well to free up more salary cap issues, so there may actually be some good old fashioned trading come draft time or, the Rams ownership is cutting as much of their costs as possible so that when their lease deal runs out at the dome, they can move the team. Actually had our number used on Friday (16 Jan)...credit card company called on Sunday and inquired what was going on. Seems it was being used for plane tickets (turkish) and other things. UPDATED: around 2 degrees in STL currently -14 windchill with an expected windchill -11 -21 or so today. what gets me is the number of schools closing because of the cold...when i went to school the only time it closed was if we had close to 10-12" of snow....i guess they can't afford to heat the schools these days.

Why not do away with field goals, time outs, kickoffs other than the start of each half (if the other team scores, you start on your 20yd line, and finally do away with stopping the clock just because the pass is missed or a player goes out of bounds?
