    trade...

1st offer can be tempting, depending on your depth at WR and need at RB. St Louis started blocking better towards the end of the giants game, but I agree they look bad thus far. All offense will go through SJax though. I might pull the trigger. 2nd offer, stay put. no way!

    QB Hell

I have Palmer, Hass, Cassel ( I need a QB bad!) I have B. Marshall, Jennings, Witten (we start 3 WR's, TE's count as WR's, I have nothing else to speak of at the position) Am I crazy to give up Jennings for a QB and decent WR? Maybe I get Warner and E. Royal for Jennings and Cassel. What do you think?

    You guys are awesome. Thanks!

    Titans Homers

Is he healthy? Why did he only have 2 tackles against the Jaguars. He is usually all over the field?

    Titans Homers

I appreciate the insight. I need someone who is going to rack up tackles. Might have to part ways with him. thanks again

    Carson Palmer

Seriously, is this team really that bad. Bengals homers, is this what we can expect from the Bengals all year? How can Palmer suck so bad? I did not see the game.

    Carson Palmer

How could they have fallen so far so fast? I knew I was making a mistake when I drafted Palmer. Their oline used to be a bright spot...what happened? Their defense is horrible. If they can't stop the Ravens, they will not stop anyone. I would love some serious insight. Anyone?

    Chicago WRs

Can any of the Bears WR's have a fantasy impact? Who is the #1?
  9. I know nothing about the guy, except, Tampa had no running game before he stepped on the field last year and he seemed to produce every week. That has to count for something? Why is he not the unquestioned starter with a bright future?

    Frank Gore

Bad Knees - Check Horrible QB Play - Check Not So Spectacular Supporting Skill Players - Check 2008 Schedule - ? Offensive Line - ? Seriously, I am picking #8. I really want Barber, but have a feeling he will be gone. With that said, I am thinking Portis, but have to weigh all my options. I know Gore has major talent, but I typically think it's smarter taking a player in the first round with less risk, has a supporting cast that will benefit him, and relatively low mileage on their body. Do you guys really think Gore will overcome the bad offense, stay healthy and produce like he did in 2006? Will Alex Smith get better this year to help him? Is their Oline good? Is there schedule easy? Any help is appreciated!

    Frank Gore

I appreciate everyones feedback. Seems like most of us agree. It was a good point that Gore did blow up with very little support in 2006, but it's just too risky for me. Regarding PPR, our WR's do not starting get points for each reception until they catch 7 passes. Our RB's do not get any PPR. This has worked well for our league to balance scoring. I have been reading this board for over 6 years and have been playing fantasy for well over 12 years. I agree with the statement, "You have to see how it all pains out at the draft table". Good Luck!

    Clinton Portis

I am VERY apprehensive about this guy. More than most, all I see is a huge injury risk. Why is he rated so high? Why do you like him? Do you really think he will hold up until the fantasy playoffs? Any insight is appreciated.

    Clinton Portis

Barber has proven enough without even getting a full work load and he is on a better team.

    Clinton Portis

I appreciate everyone's input. For some reason I thought Portis had bum knees or something. I still think I will take Barber over Portis.
  15. I am very good at playing Fantasy Football, but I do not watch college football and it hinders me slightly. Almost every year I have to watch my league mates draft one or two RB's in the early rounds who wind up producing some serious stats. Can you college football experts provide insight regarding which rookie RB's have the most talent and chance to succeed (fantasy wise) this year. It would be great if you can provide insight into style of running (every down back, goal line back, etc.) and predicted work load for the upcoming season. Bottom line, which rookie RB's are worth drafting early this year and who will produce the most when the season is finished. If you want to be bold, post projected stats. Thanks!

Which Rookie RB's will perform best

Thanks for the feedback. Do you think any of these guys have enough talent/opportunity to produce 1,200 yards and 10+ Touch downs? Are any worth a round 2, 3, or 4 pick in a 12 team redraft, standard scoring?
  17. I need all the points I can get this week. I have Indy's def. I never watch them play, but they seem to play well, even without Freney. The hawks are playing really well and Balt has a good defense.
  18. Maroney has been sitting my bench all season after I picked him with my 1st pick, #12 overall. His matchup against the Jets is just soooo tempting. If he can help me win my playoff game this week I can still justify the pick. My other options are Kevin Jones and Chester Taylor. Am I absolutely crazy for considering Maroney this week. I know Brady and his WR's steal the show, but he should still be getting more opportunities than he does. Are they just keeping him healthy? Do they just not like him? Patriots homers, please chime in with any helpful insight. Anyone else rolling the dice on Maroney this week. If they decide to give him the ball, he can have a breakout game. I dont think I have the balls to start him. I just dont think they will give him the ball? Please, any info will help. Good Luck to all remaining playoff teams!

    I Really, Really Need Insight

You guys have confirmed what I have been thinking. Thanks!
  20. Lets rank our favorite RBs heading into week 14. I am thankful to bring Ryan Grant to Oakland on wild card week. Now I have to decide if K. Smith, R Bush, or Chester Taylor get the start along with Grant. I am leaning towards K. Smith playing Broncos. Who else has these important decisions to make?
  21. Either Reggie Bush or Ryan Grant. Am I crazy?
  22. I have a feeling Maroney has a break out week and I am worried about the Saints getting beat-up by the Jags. Is Bush or Maroney the better play this week?
  23. Any news on how healthy he is and how he looks and how much playing time he will be getting moving forward? I love his upside, especially since Maroney is killing me. What a little girl he is.
  24. Great Insight. I think he is one of those back that if healthy, he will get his not matter what. He has great talent and will get it receiving if not rushing. I appreciate it.
