  1. Kolb, not really underrated, hes overrated imo

Sims Walker, may be 2nd option may be 4th meh

BJGE, Guess thats why the Pats drafted Ridley, who is a much better back and is an everydown type of guy. So you saying no good backup, means you really dont know anything about the Pats

There is a reason BJGE got his contract, there is a reason why he IS the goal line back, there is a reason why Belichek trusts him.....he doesnt fumble. Easily will get at least 10td's, how many other 6th round RB's can you say that about? Of course there are a stable full of backs, thats the Patriots way, but so is giving the ball to proven players who do their job. He is definitely not sexy, but his is underrated. Thats just my opinion of course, as a Pats fan.

  2. Weaknesses (there are more of them):

    1. I tend to fall in love/out of love with too many players. I have too many players who I will never draft, and more that I should have less manlove for.

    2. In the later rounds, I tend to only draft young unproven players with "potential". I need to do a better job of not giving up on the vets.

    3. I pay way too much attention to what ADP a player is taken at. I usually let my gut feeling subside, even though I did tons of research and feel somewhat confident in a player. Last year, that one guy for me (and countless others) was Arian Foster. Also see #4 for why ADP is just a guideline.

    4. Until recently, I never really went back over the years and looked at how our scoring system affects player projections. We use 6 points for QB TD's, -1 for sacks, we have points for KR, we also use a flex and IDP. It ABSOLUTELY makes a difference.

  3. I like your team as well...Run DMC was an all-white boy band from the early 90's I think :dunno:

Im digging DMC and Felix Jones as well.

    My team: 12-man, 1-keeper (1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 flex, 1 te, and IDP)

    QB1 Phillip Rivers

    QB2 Chad Pennington

    RB1 Adrian Peterson

    RB2 Ryan Grant

    RB3 DMC

    RB4 Felix Jones

    WR1 TJ Housh

    WR2 Donald Driver

    WR3 Brandon Marshall

    WR4 Domenic Hixon

    TE Dustin Keller

    please rate

  4. 12-Man IDP 1-keeper (Adrian Peterson)

    QB- Philip Rivers, Chad Pennington

RB= Adrian Peterson, Ryan Grant, Darren McFadden, Felix Jpnes, Peyton Hillis

WR= TJ housh, Donald Driver, Brandon Marshall, Domenik Hixon, Muhsin Muhammed

    TE- Dustin Keller, Bo Scaife

    FLex- ...............RB or WR

    LB- Lance Briggs, EJ Henderson

    DL- Robert Mathis,Darryl Tapp

    CB- Antione Winfield

K- not that it matter.......but, Lawrence Tynes

  5. Ronnie is really a non-factor. I fell for all the kool-aid last year about him, wasted a first round pick. But, with Cinci's stellar defense (joke), Palmers arm is going to fall off so I can see Rudi's number declining. Every time MJD takes the field he has a chance to go off. I probably would keep what you have. Play the matchups with MJD and Brown. Hopefully, MJD can win you a few games against some bad run D's. Or, if you like to play is safe go with Rudi...consistent, not stellar. But, how much fun is that???

  6. Eh...this doesn't really contribute anything in terms of fantasy football. Who cares, you got lucky. It happens to someone every week.

Are you really angry at someone because they had a great week and got excited about it???? Thats very sad. '

Good job bro..........by the way I benched Chris Brown too......along with A. Peterson, Big Ben, Ronald Curry, and L. Coles.......so to answer your question NO I didnt have that great of a week, but my bench did.

  7. Bump :pointstosky:

You did OK, should have been a little stronger in a 10 man. I have a similair squad, but it was a 12 man from the 2 spot. But, I still managed to get TO.

    RB:SJax, Edge, Duece, A. Peterson

WR: TO, Reggie Brown, L.Coles, Mark Clayton

WHen did you pick up the TE's?

  8. Hard to believe Cutler was the best QB1 on the board for you. I think he's got potential to be a great NFL quarterback and is certainly in a good situation in Denver (solid running game, WR's, coaching, defense, etc.) I like the Broncos to be the in the playoff picture as usual, but I would not be comfortable at all with Cutler as my QB1....not yet anyway. I'm sure he'll have his moments, but expect some real stinkers too.

I draft with a bunch of followers. 5 QB's went in the second round. Thats how I got Edge and TO (I drafted from the 2 spot in a keeper league). It was the likes of Losman, Green, Culpepper by the time it I decided to take a QB. Im thinking of packaging Cutler with A. Peterson and see what shakes out.

  9. Cutler will face 6 out of 16 games -vs- really good defenses. Chargers & Raiders twice, Steelers and Bears.

He should be a good start in the other 10 games, and a decent start at home -vs- chargers & raiders. That leaves 4 games to worry about. The only reason to worry is that he's still inexperienced, so he will undoubtedly struggle at times.

Cutler will probably rush for a handful of TD's cause he's not afraid to run and get tough yards.

He should be a decent #1QB, but nothing stellar. If you got a stud WR and "settled" for Cutler being your #1 because of it, then you probably did good.

Im looking good elsewhere. 12 man draft

RB's: Frank Gore, Edge, Duece Mcallister, A. Peterson (Minn)

WR's: TO, Reggie Brown, L. Coles, M. Clayton

Im going to ride it out and hope for the best. I have Big Ben and J. Campbell on the bench.

  10. Definitely not Lynch vs. Denver.....so I guess that leaves you Foster huh? Glad I dont have to make that decision. Foster????? Yeah, sure....Foster....definitely :overhead:

Buress vs Clayton....I usually go for the playmkaer....that would be Buress. I hate when someone burns me when I bench someone and they go off. But, I just dont see him going off vs. Dallas in week 1. Just look at the matchup vs. your opponent. If you feel confident then go Buress, if its close then consider Clayton. Ahhhh....what the hell......just go Burress and see what happens! THere.

  12. do you think i'd lose too much depth at WR in case of injury?

why are you even considering this? Get er done............You start TO and Steve Smith and have REGGIE WAYNE on the bench??? THats 3 of the top 5 WR right there, Roy Williams doesnt even have room on your team.
