  1. As is their custom, the Sporting News polled 111 players from 31 NFL teams for this year's midseason players' poll. They asked voters to weigh-in on all manner of subjects related to the league. In one question sure to raise eyebrows, players were asked to name the coach they would least like to play for. The results may shock you. So who did players unequivocally state were the worst coaches to play for in the NFL? Let's take a look. 1. Coughlin 2. Sparano 3. Billichek http://bleacherreport.com/articles/935964-nfls-worst-head-coaches-did-sporting-news-poll-get-it-right And by the way, I think it's smart to do it. If you can keep guys production down you can keep them on your team for cheaper and keep your team more competitive given the salary cap requirements. Just let them be studs on days where you really need them to to win and when you can win w/ your third string RB or WR, use them since your not going to have to pay them anyway.
  2. Players don't like playing for Billichek because of this. He doesn't necessarily bench players but he will game plan to spread the wealth so there are no studs that will require huge contracts. Obviously there are exceptions like Welker, Moss, etc. I bet you will see Gronkowski's production go down towards the end of the year w/ the easy schedule. They won't need him to produce like a stud to win. They def. don't want to have to pay him like a top tier TE which is what he will command if his production continues.
  3. I would argue that the people who draft the "good" tight ends used a high draft pick on them leaving valuable receivers/Rb's that they would have otherwise taken. So if you want one of the good ones, you have to pay a high price for them in the draft and it will or should result in weaknesses at other positions.

Getting tired of Beanie Wells and his weekly BS!

Your sick of his weekly BS? You mean his virtual lock for a td every time he plays?

    Ryan Torain

I've owned Torain every year since he's been in the league. He always produces when healthy. Last week he was a victim of circumstance. Linemen out, falling behind, cant move the chains and despite that, he gained 26 yards AFTER contact.... for a grand total of 22 yards. You do the math, he was getting hit in the damn backfield. Timmy hightower would have ended up w/ negative yardage. The boy can run with the elite runners in the league, he just can't stay healthy. I believe his offensive line situation is still horrible but going up against the panthers he should be good for about 220 yards and 2 td's maybe 3. He's a stud when healthy.

    Beanie Wells

I know the steelers haven't been playing all that well on defense but I haven't seen any of their games. Are they "close" to putting it together? I'm also worried that arizona might fall behind and abandon the run. Thinking about rolling out Earnest Graham instead... Anyone seen any recent steelers games? Are they getting better or just older?

Is this kid going to suck the rest of the year? I'm thinking droppin his ass for Fred Davis. Anyone have any insight as to why his production has fallen off so dramatically?

    Lance Kendricks Owners

Why is it that every time I see him, fred davis is making a play? Then I look at his stats and they are not that good. No opportunity? Cooley's always hurt maybe fred davis' time is here.

Carson Palmer is under contract with the Bengals. The Bengals have been very open about not trading him. He will not play anywhere this year unless he decides he wants to play w/ the bengals.
  21. I've got good running back depth and want to snag TE Cook from Tennessee. this is thes only guy I'm considering dropping. I haven't seen him play and everything i read is saying he is the suck. Help a brother out.

Is D. Thomas MIAMI worth a roster spot

Let me rephrase. I haven't seen D. Thomas play at all. Does he suck as bad as everyone says? BTW, you guys who waste your time posting a response to a question that you deem to be on the wrong board are funny.

Buy low on Deangelo Williams NOW

The key in the national football league is that a running back has a qb that can convert 3rd downs and get the team into the redzone. Guess what, the panthers do not have this. Dwill is focked for the entire year w/ the exception of the few weeks where he breaks off big runs for TD's. He'll have some big days and some other 19 carries for 39 yard days...Mostly the latter.
