We all know there's "a chance" any of the top 6 WR's could finish 1st...but could he finish 90/1400/15?

This is what I thought...in a PPR keeper, you gotta look hard at MJD. As well, if Westy falls to him at the 4 spot, which I doubt he will, you gotta grab him. He might not be a LONG time keeper, but you will have someone on your team in the next 2 years to keep. And what about Portis? I know he has injury and Betts issues, but he was top 5 the last few years. I'm in a 1 keeper PPR league, and I love my spot. I got S. Jackson and the number 4 pick. The backs kept are LT, SJax, LT, Gore, MJD, Alexander, Rudy and Bush. The guy with the 1st pick is planning on taking Manning, so that leaves Addai, Westy and FWP as the next 3 picks IMO. Anyone else you can see I might be interested in at the 4 spot this year?

    Mock Draft - Today - July 28

I did a PPR-Flex-TE req mock this morning. I got some AWESOME value....Portis and SD dst are a couple. How could this draft have been better? I lost some attention towards the end, does anyone have any sleepers that could have more adequately filled those late spots? I had the 5 spot...my team is Drowning Pool. Jerious Norwood - Expectations?

Norwood's ADP is 6.11 right now, from what I have seen. Too many questions in ATL for me right now.

Randy Moss - Steppin Up or Steppin Down?

He has nowhere to go but up. He will be a low end WR2 or WR3.

    On the Clock!

I had to go with Manning here. I'm not saying if I was in this draft position, I would draft Manning, but as the question is posed, I would take Manning over Maroney. If I were in the position in reality, I would consider Rudy, Henry or McGahee. I like Maroney's situation, but he is still a little unproven to me to warrant this draft position. As stated above, injury concerns and NE's high passing offense scare me a little.

Yeah...I could change my list to put Walker after Driver and before Roy Williams. Actually I am targeting Walker in my draft in the 4th...but I am trying to keep it quiet.

    RB Rankings

fixxxed to reflect reality for the love of God, stop ranking RB's on name sake alone. You're like the dude's who keep taking Barry Sanders year in and year out. Let it go. Alexander is on the wrong side of the age line w/an injury that seems to linger (see C. Martin), McGahee is gonna rush behind a half rookie line, and feel free to tell me when the last time that ever produced a top tier RB, Edge is behind a sh1ttier line than McGahee, and it's looking more and more like he was a product of Indy's "throw first to set up the run" offense, Brown WTF has he ever done to warrant that high of a ranking, besides suck and once again have a new coach, Deuce, you gotta put him up there with Maroney and FWP. He's very productive (just not as flashy as Bush) and Henry got 1200 yards last year on a team with a weak line, now he's going to a team that could turn anyone into a 1200yard back, and yet you obviously think he's gonna do worse than that reflected on your ranking Easy there Braggadocio...just one man's opinion. It is May...these rankings are subject to change, but my opinion is allowed to differ from your's. I hope Alexander and Edge drop to me where you rank them...well worth the value.

    RB Rankings

I can't believe that no one commented on McGahee being ranked 20th. 2 years ago, he was ranked top 5 on a mediocre Bills team. Now he is on a playoff team with a great defense and a run first offense. I'm not saying he should be top 10, but top 12-15 for sure. From what I heard on Sirius NFL Radio, the Alexander comment on his foot was more so a joke than reality...but who knows...it's all heresay until the start of week one really. My rankings: LT2 SJax LJ Gore Alexander Westbrook Addai Rudi Parker Maroney McGahee Bush Edge (look for him to bounce back with new coaching staff) Henry Portis Brown MJD Thomas Jones Benson Jacobs Deuce

Chad Johnson a top 3 WR?

I agree with VaTerp...CJ does get a bit of a bad rap for his antics, but he is an entertainer as well as an athlete. As far as my rankings, mine look like this right now...subject to change(PPR): S. Smith Harrison Holt CJ TO Wayne Fitz But as stated earlier...any of these guys could end the year in any one of these positions. I would take any of them as my WR1 in any draft.

Trades - Would you trade Portis?

I also agree with the above posts. If you are in a PPR league, see what WR you could get for Portis. 2 stud RB's and a stud WR would be a great start to your team.

Which WR tandem would prefer ?

Walker will be OK...sure he went through something hard to have happen, but I work in the emergency medicine field, I doubt it's on his mind the majority of the time, let alone when he is on the field. With so much support around him, he'll get over it. Having said that, I would take Walker and Housh-ya-daddy any day of the week. NE will spread the ball around to much for any of their WR's be top fantasy players.

Calvin Johnson: A top 10 WR in 07?

My prediction 800 yards, 16 TD. My thought is if CJ ends the year with these numbers, how can he not be top 10? I play in Yahoo TD friendly leagues, and 16 TD's is a nice number to finish with. I can see CJ at 800-900 yards with a high end of 8-10 TD's...putting him top 20.

    10th pick this year in a re-draft

I think if Peyton Manning is available, you gotta draft him. You will have another pick in 5, then target Addai, Bush, Rudy or Henry, then think the Egde, Benson or T. Jones in the 3rd. Then grab Hous-ya-daddy or Boldin. I know some people refuse to draft a QB in the 1st round, but if Peyton lands in your lap at 10, I'd do it.
  22. This is something I cannot debate. I thought NE had done some great things prior to the draft, but now they have solidified their roster. From A. Thomas, Stallworth, Welker, et al...now this weekend...they have to be the favorites looking at the season. As well, they got themselves a 1st rounder next year...

    New Keeper League

I am in a 1st year keeper league, will draft #4 this year. PPR, 6 pts/TD, 1 pt/20 yds rush/rec., 1 pt/50 yds passing, standard scoring. We will keep a second player at the end of this year. Keepers, in no order: 1. LT 2. S Jax - mine 3. LJ 4. Bush 5. Rudi 6. Palmer 7. Brees 8. Jones-Drew 9. Holt 10. Gore 11. Alexander 12. To be determined I think I am in a great position. The 1st overall pick will be Manning (last year's owner also had LT) leaving Westy, Parker, Addai, Portis, Ronnie Brown for me. Who would you draft in my position? I am planning on going WR, WR for picks 2 and 3, drafting a QB in round 6-7. I did a 4-5 round mock draft, looking at teams needs, and by the time it snakes back to me, the receivers I am looking at are: - Housh-ya-daddy - Roy Williams - Boldin - J Walker - Fitz - Plaxico - Andre Johnson - Driver - Evans - Colston Which 2 WR's would you like to go to battle with?

    New Keeper League

I like that option...thanks. Might be the best one I've seen. I am just hoping Westy makes it to me. I pick 4th, and the 1st pick will be Peyton. What do you think the top 5 draft picks will be...if you look at the keepers? I see something like Manning, Westy, Parker, Addai...any thoughts?

    RLLD's Spring QB Rankings

I like a few lists posted...but I am with the majority in saying Cutler needs to be in the top 10. As a rookie, I think he showed as much or more promise than the likes of Leinart, Alex Smith, Jason Campbell and even Romo. I'm not sold AT ALL on Romo...Leinart has the skill set and WR's around him to succeed...Smith is on the way...but "my gut" tells me Cutler should be my QB, taken in rounds 6-8. My list: Manning Palmer Brees Brady Bulger McNabb Hasselback Vick Cutler Vince Eli Kitna Rivers Romo
