    Lets talk Mike Clayton:

Clayton burst onto the NFL scene with 1100 yards and 7 TDs as a rookie. Clayton then hurt his knee and shoulder last year before the year even started. Chuckie just stated on the NFL Network that Clayton looks better than he ever has. The guy has all the tools. Comeback player of the year material??

    What's Kevin Curtis' story?

Still listed as #3, from what I read he does not run good routes. Just good fly patterns.

    Rams WR's

    I like Ike!

TRADE FOR CULPEPPER WHILE HIS STOCK IS LOW

You may be right but who is better? McNabb may be better, Vick stinks, Leftwich seems to be on his way. Brooks is...Brooks. McNair is washed up.
  5. If Barry played for the Cowboys..and Emmitt for the Lions. Barry would have had 20,000+ and we would be saying Emmitt Who??
  6. My Negro!

Ronnie Brown will be a bust

Houk said against Caroline they used vanilla blocking schemes..nothing like they will use during the season. Plus Carolina has a great run defense.
  7. Just heard it on the radio..will look for a link. Not happy with their rBs.

Why are people drafting Isaac Bruce?

Because Bulgar loves him. When Bruce came bacl last season Curtis went into the crapper.
  9. By JEAN-JACQUES TAYLOR / The Dallas Morning News IRVING – Cracks are starting to become more evident in the relationship between Terrell Owens and the Cowboys. Now, the Cowboys have to ensure those cracks don't create a fissure that can't be repaired. Terrell Owens, who has missed 19 of 31 practices since the start of training camp with a strained left hamstring, missed a team meeting and a rehabilitation session and was late to an offensive meeting Friday. "That's our club business. That's going to be accounted for," owner Jerry Jones said at halftime of Saturday's 17-7 win over San Francisco. Owens was fined $9,500. When asked if there was any problem between Owens and the club, Jones said, "We're going to be fine." Several sources said Owens has been fined for being late to multiple rehabilitation sessions. Owens could not be reached for comment. He did not attend the game, which is not unusual for injured players in the preseason because coach Bill Parcells doesn't like players who aren't playing to be on the sideline. The strained hamstring Owens suffered during the first week of training camp could create a conflict between Owens and Parcells. Parcells is a stickler for having players practice. He believes that because football is a game of repetition, players who don't practice can't thrive because they inevitably make mistakes that cost games. Rare is the player on a Parcells team who plays on Sunday after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, the two heaviest work days during the regular season. Twice in the last week, Owens has mentioned that he played well in San Francisco the second half of one season without practicing. Owens, who returned to practice Aug. 16, managed only five practices before saying he aggravated his hamstring because of too many repetitions in practice. Passing game coordinator and receivers coach Todd Haley is responsible for practice repetitions. "There's no question our best thing to do is get him well," Jones told Ch. 11 after the game. "I want him out there and would've wanted him to make every practice. "I understand that, and everyone else does, too. He wants to be out there, too. ... I know this: When he's healthy, he's going to help us win these ballgames." Since the Cowboys signed him in March to a three-year, $25 million deal, including $10 million in signing bonus and salary this year, Owens has talked about learning from his mistakes and being a better teammate. Philadelphia suspended and deactivated him for the final nine games of last season before releasing him in March. Less than a week later, he signed with Dallas. Owens has made an effort to fit in. He met the team's chartered flight when it arrived at Point Mugu for training camp, greeting teammates with hugs and handshakes. He also threw a barbecue for teammates on their first off day of training camp. Owens' combination of size (6-3, 226 pounds) and speed makes him one of the NFL's most gifted players. His attitude and conflicts with teammates in San Francisco and Philadelphia have made him one of the league's most notorious players. He can be combustible. But Jones has said he doesn't think a problem will develop between Owens and Parcells – two strong-willed men who like confrontation – because they will manage their relationship carefully. Time will tell if the cracks can be fixed.

****TO misses team meeting and rehab****

I jusr heard on NFL Radio that Tuna is furious with Owens. This is not going to end well.

    Philip Rivers

I just heard Rivers hurt his shoulder last night...any word?? This will kil LT and Gates.
  12. We were talking about this at our draft and many people think that this is the year LT goes down. Too many touches may be catching up with him. Last year he was dinged a few times for the first time in his career. This year his number may be up. Others??

With the big 3 and Tiki off the board.....

The safest pick you could take is Peyton Manning. Manning and the RB you get coming back will most likely blow away the RB you take and the QB you end up with.
  14. My Negro!

    Tiki Barber

Brandon Jacobs is going to get 7-8 TDs this season. Barber has already stated BJ is the goal line guy.

The Portis panic is getting ridiculous

Gibbs thinks Portis is too brittle to be an every down back. It could end up a full RBBC this season.
  16. My Negro!

    No One Is Talking About

When given the chance last year Parker ran with very good power is short yardage situations early on. Then Bettis got healthy. Bettis got stuffed as much as anybody last year.
  17. My Negro!

For those thinking of taking Manning at #4

In a 10 team league I would grab Manning at 4. There still will be decent RBs avaiable. 12-14 teams get a little dicey!
  18. My Negro!

Peyton Manning with #12 pick in 12-team league?

QBs like Manning are not a dime a dozen! I waited last season ans ended up with McNair and Harrington. I has a good team but the QB spot killed me!!
  19. My Negro!

Anyone else feeling this @ #4 pick?

I was just using Barlow and Gore as examples. Take whoever you see fit. Indys D is a little weaker this year, their running game is weaker, means bigger games for Manning.
  20. My Negro!

Anyone else feeling this @ #4 pick?

Manning probably will outscore the QB you draft by 100 for the season, if Ronnie Brown or SJax out scores Frank Gore or Jamal Lewis by 40, you are still 60+ to the good. In bigger leagues you have to be better at certain position. The rBs after the big 3 are basically a crap shoot. Manning is a proven point scorer.
  21. My Negro!

Anyone else feeling this @ #4 pick?

Manning is probably the safest pick on the board after the top 3. I can see at least 36 TDs with an upside in the low 40s. Scoop Wayne coming back and load up on guys like Frank Gore and Kevin Barlow who may be as good as some of the first rd RBs when all is said and done.
  22. Watching mock drafts it seems that Jackson is taking over the #4 slot behind the Big 3. Jackson could possibly crack the top 3 this year. The Rams schedule is cake.
  23. My Negro!

    WHich Jones?

Julie is too soft..plus MBIII may end up the starter. Tuna loves him.
  24. My Negro!

    Steven Jacksons stock is rising!

Since the Portis injury Jax has been going up in most drafts I have seen. Portis may still be at #8 but I would be worried about that shoulder.
  25. Stevens reinjured his repaired knee today at practice and was carted off the field. Does not sound good.
