WTF happened to Sportsline's Gamecenter?
hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to scb175's topic in FFToday Board
agreed, why the hell should we care about the drive chart, especially when its updated only every 75 seconds. Maybe if it was live, or 5 second delay, it would be cool. THey just put a new dress on a fat girl...so it still sucks -
wow, you must have a really boring job

NEW FANTASY STRATEGY ***MUST SEE ****
hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to laxdad57's topic in FFToday Board
first, it looks like you trade pick #3 away... if so.... second, not a bad strategy, but i would never trade away both 1st and 2nd round picks. You have to get at least 1 solid RB if you're going to apply this strategy. You have to at least have the chance that your RB1 will have a stud year. i suggest trading a QB and TE for a solid tier 2 or 3 RB. You dont need 2 starting QBs and TEs with those starting lineups. IMO -
the real question is, why would you want anyone on the Jets offense for your FF team?

is ne1 here in a cbssportsline-platinum or diamond league?
hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to fastone's topic in FFToday Board
i joined the cheap one on CBS for $40, not sure what the name is. I'm not too worried about collusion for that size $$$, but the selection was not random. You can change leagues up to 48 hours before your draft. I honestly looked aroudn and didnt see any that had everything i wanted. There was one, sorry cant remember the name, that had payouts up to 90% of buy-in. But, almost all of them have very generic scoring/rules. -
With the exception of the year when he fell on his head, he has been one of the most consistent FF WRs in the league. Last year, on an AWFUL GB team, he had career #s. He's about the only option and we know Lord Favre aint afraid to force a pass. So, he will get lots of targets. He is viable red zone option since GB has no running game He has breakaway speed so he will get those 2-4 "extra" TDs that possesion WRs dont get He may or may not finish top 5, but he is way better than his mid 3rd to early 4th rd ADP.

Dunn to see more goal line carries
hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to tony hardware's topic in FFToday Board
i still say this is just Mora standing up for his player as im sure a reporter just asked a question like "who will be the short yardage back now that Duckett is gone". That, and it nevers hurts to throw up a Bellicheck-esque smokescreen to the other teams -
You hit the jackpot then cause 99% of all female "athletes" ive ever seen blow up like the michelin man after their high school/college careers are done. Just because they play sports doesnt make them care anymore about their body. Their coaches may have cared to keep them in game shape, but most wont do it on their own. That girl is definitely not hot, at least in those pics. Take a stroll around a college campus and she will be average at best. Sure, its all subjective, but i've seen 500 hotter women just walking around here today.
-
first of all, if you think she is hot, you are either a) old b. married c)old & married d)old, married and blind. She's just another butch, female jock who's gonna blow up 10 sizes within 12 months of the end of her "athletic" career. granted, she is better than most of these female Bball players, but i'll take my women in heels and miniskirts. Never seen a woman look good in hoops gear.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2565423 Eagles gave him permission to seek a trade. Now the question is, which team would actually want a WR with 2 bad achilles, 2 bad hands (cant catch), and who cant run any route except the Go-route?

hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to joeyt7's topic in FFToday Board
hey joey, im gonna try to be nice about this, cause some newbies have gotten their panties in a bunch with some of my comments before, so... you've been a member since '99 and you're still posting "who do i take" questions to this bored? In that case, i suggest taking Herschel Walker...he's making a comeback a la Jeff George. -

The more I think about it Mario Williams...
hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to Super Cubs's topic in FFToday Board
Agreed, and im not overlooking that fact, but how many rings did the Bills & Bruce get? As many as the Lions. I know we're on opposite sides of the fence here and will never agree, but thats my opinion. Give me 800 Mil, tell me I have the 33rd NFL team and the #1 pick, and i take a superstar RB -

hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to Super Cubs's topic in FFToday Board
thats your opinion and you're entitled to it. But, i dont take A DE over a RB to start a team. Maybe an OL, but never a DE. And thats real life, Fantasy, or Autralian Rules -

hotdogcollarsdotcom replied to Super Cubs's topic in FFToday Board
i dont care how good a DE is, you dont take him over an impact RB...EVAH Lets use this example, 2 HOF players...say Bruce Smith and Barry Sanders, who would you rather have to start a team? How does drafting a defensive end translate into winning? He cant protect Carr, he cant score TDs, he cant get first downs, sh*t, he'll be lucky to even register a sack in half the games this year. i dont care what kind of system you have, a great RB will just do that much better in a great system I'm not putting Bush in the HOF yet, but this was possibly one of the worst picks Ive ever seen in the NFL draft. -
