    The Reggie Bush Argument

just dont see that happening and here's why: REASON 1 - he's a rookie and here's a look at stats of some notable RBs in their rookie years. i tried to choose a balance of RBs who had to split carries, who were wayyy hyped coming into the league, and who were considered small. i threw in LT2 just to see what a monster rookie year looks like (note these are TOTAL yds). Ronnie Brown - 1100/5 LT2 - 1500/10 Dunn - 1400/7 Priest - 1200/7 The basic idea here is that a BIG year for a rookie RB is 1500 and 8, so to say that 1600 and 8 is a "starting point" is a bit generous. PLus, i didnt even include any "busts" in their rookie years REASON 2 - The schedule Starting week 4, the 'Aints play Carolina, Tampa, Philly, Bye, Bit'mo, Tampa, and Pittsburgh. Then they get a few easy weeks and roll into FF playoff season with Dallas, Washington, and NYG. Thats 9 out of 15 FF games they will have to face good to great defenses. And the NFC east teams they play in the FF playoffs were ranked 8,9 & 11 in total D last year and have all gotten better on that side of the ball REASON 3 - Splitting time will hurt him Sure, he's a playmakerand the Saints know that, but so does everyone else on the field. So, when he is on the field for those 25-30 plays each game, the D knows the ball is probably going to him REASON 4 - They're the saints Probably the weakest of all the reasons, but still valid. They have a new coaching staff, new players, and by the time they "gel" into their new offense, they will right in the heart of that grueling schedule REASON 5 - ADP vs Value Probably the biggest reason in my mind since Bush is SO hyped right now, I have a feeling he is going to go mid Rd2 or higher in my league (PPR that is in love with RBs). I just dont think he is that valuable this year. Myabe if you've got a top 3 pick and he makes it back to you in the snake in rd 3. But, that is the earliest i would consider him

    Chambers!

i was just thinking the exact same thing i have 2.11 and 3.02 and will probably go RB-WR c-pepp loves to lock on to his #1, so he should see lots o targets this year. and i would almost always rather have a teams #1 WR than their #2.

    Philadelphia Eagles RBs

can you guys ship me a cheesesteak and a soft pretzel? Moved to Florida 3 years ago from Philly, and while the talent is much better here, the food is not. BTW Ghost, i have a friend who does the exact same thing around campus.

Name your comeback WR (Ex Terry Glenn, Galloway last year)

eh, whats a good point without a little exaggeration? But, he did have 800 2 years ago.

    12 Team redraft at # 2

forgot about those guys. If Benson keeps on p*ssin off his teammates, then I'd say Jones is a solid pickup. As for the Bells, they're complete wildcards IMO. I really think they could both go anywhere from rd 3 to rd 7 AND both could produce either near-stud numbers or be total busts. Good thing about having the 2nd pick is you can take some risks with your other RBs.

Name your comeback WR (Ex Terry Glenn, Galloway last year)

Forgot him, but yeah, good call he is definitely a solid WR this year

    12 Team redraft at # 2

not in any league i've played in, nor any legit mocks i've done. The only starting RBs i've seen falling to that point were --Gore - but probably not now that Schindler...i mean Barlow is gone) --Dunn - again, with Duckett gone he's rd 3 at the latest --D Mac --Rhodes --Chris Brown I have the second pick, and depending on how my draft goes, i am thinking of going Rb-Rb-Rb and then trying to get Driver, Mason, Heap, or Shockey at 4/5

Name your comeback WR (Ex Terry Glenn, Galloway last year)

Horn - Agreed he is undervalued right now. But, check his stats, he's been one of the most consistent, albeit unspectacular, WRs in the past 5 years. Moulds - cant argue with the evry other year thing. But, i just cant see the Texans O doing all that much this year...again Booker - i think he'll be ok, but i'm not buying 70 rec for 1000 yds. Duante was never very good at finding his 3rd and 4th options and you've got to figure Chambers=1200 yds, McMichael=900, R Brown=400 yds (probably more), other options (WR, TE, RBs) = 4-500 yds. Thats 3000 yds right there, which leaves 500 for Booker. Basially, if Duante has a monster year, then ok, Booker is a great call. I gotta go with A Bryant - He quietly had 1000 yds with one of the worst offenses in the league last year. Granted SF isnt great, but they should be much improved and they're in a weak division with an easy schedule.

    Draft-Rating Systems

online draft, all through IM, message board, and chat and yet it still borders on X rated. between the insults, racist comments (in a friendly way since we have a diverse group), and horrific pictures (imagine roseanne & star jones lesbian scenes) it all adds up to a very entertaining, if not offensive few hours.

    I traded M.Bell.....ahh!

i like the trade in a non-ppr, but i'd pick up pittman as handcuff for caddy. Something tells me Pittman will get a few starts this year.

The Best 1.7 Yd. Per Carry Performance Ever!

as yet another reminder to my previous post (SPORTCENTER IS UNWATCHABLE), Stuart Scott is completely absurd these days. In fact, the whole ESPN crew, with the exception of a few, are just there to enhance the hype machine and in the end, promote themselves and their network. just yet another example of someone trying to make news where there is none.

Donald Driver @ #5 in the fftoday rankings

Um, Favre had the worst year of his career in '05 and yet Driver put up Career highs in receptions and yards. So, while your points on Lord Favre sucking it up are valid, they have ZERO bearing on what Driver does. With that said, not a top 5, but definitely a top 10 in PPR leagues.
