So, the Stud RB theory says that if you have 2, you should be great, right? Well, i'm about to put this to the test... I just about have a deal worked out where i trade my 2nd (2.11) and 3rd (3.02) rd picks for 1.09. We're also throwing around some mid round stuff, but thats the meat of it. League Info - 12 team, PPR, 6 pts td pass, redraft serpentine, Flex, standard everywhere else. As the theory goes, i'll have 2 stud RBs, figure on a tier1-upper2 QB (in 4th), stud TE (in 5th), medoicre at best WRs, and some risks at 3rd RB. Was this just a bad drink idea (i did come up with it about 4 Captain N Cokes into the night last night)? (edit) - please give reasons if you think this is just plain dumb. telling me its a bad plan and nothing else doesnt help.

FYI, I have NOT made this trade yet. I usually dont trade, just work the hell out of the waiver wire. so thats why i was asking everyone here first. as for those player you mention, Gepetto, i know this league pretty well and no way Manning, and 2 out of 3 of Harrison, Moss, Fitz, are there.

williamson - someones gotta catch the ball up there i'm hesitant to touch anyone on the Jags since i think they'll all end up with mediocre #s. With Smith "retiring", they are going to spread it around. Plus, they are more of a defensive team with Q's on the O Line. Not a recipe for WR success.

ya know, the more i think about it allll the decisions i've made while drinking, i probably shouldnt do this trade. I mean, most of them sounded great at the time, but usually ended up with either a real pissed off girl, or me in the back of a cop car...or both.

figured this would be one of those where you either really love it or really hate it. My logic is that i will have my opponents dominated at 2 RBs, QB, and TE virtually every single week. Someone would need BIG games by their WRs to beat me. I could see that happening a few times, but not all that often. i do still have some feelers out to the guys at 6,7,& 8, but #9 was the first to bite.

Comes down to the Iggles & cowboys, but I think Philly wins out. Look at other super bowl losers 2 years out (raiders notwithstanding), in particular the Panthers. They get bit by the injury bug the year after, nose dive into last place, and then come storming back the next year. Besides, The Eagles now have the best O line and D line in the division. Thats the edge in this division this year.

Is anyone else feeling screwed with the #2 pick in a serpentine draft? redraft, PPR, 6 pt tds. granted you get 1 of the top 3, but who's there in rd 2 & 3 for you? Seriously, at that point its the twin Jones draft killers (Julius or Kevin), a reach at RB that doesnt get goaline touches (FWP), or a WR that take plays and even games off (Randy). Too early to reach for Roy Williams or Jamal Lewis, but too late for CJ, Marvin, and Holt. The more i think about it, the more pissed i get.

If she thinks HER work is more important than FF, it was over before is started. U need to make like a tree and get outta there. I dont agree with jocstrap (though it seems to work for him), NO F'IN WAY i get rid of things i enjoy just cause she doesnt like them (except maybe the titty bars, they can go).
