  1. I took him at 9 also....but 5 is reasonable, considering all the recent developments..I was happy that he fell to me. I was also fortunate enough to get Ronnie Brown at 11. Needless to say, I was stoked.

  2. Ten Team League...I picked 9th

    1.09 Rudi Johnson

    2.02 Ronnie Brown

    3.09 Larry Fitzgerald

    4.02 Clinton Portis

    5.09 Darrel Jackson

    6.02 Jake Plummer

    7.09 Drew Brees

    8.02 Jamal Lewis

    9.09 Troy Williamson

    10.02 Brad Johnson

    11.09 Deuce McCallister

    12.02 Reggie Brown

    13.09 Jeff Reed

    14.02 Baltimore

    15.09 Dallas Clark

    16.02 Drew Bennett

  3. Both guys fell to the 8th round and beyond in my league. I was just wondering if the popular opinion out there is that these guys are finished...or did we just a crazy draft

I tend to think that they both have a couple of years left in them, but they are definately on the downward swing.

  4. In a 14-teamer, I'd be targeting Freddy in the 5th/6th and Greg Jones shortly thereafter as a 3rd/4th RB tandem. My feeling is that whoever is starting will be at least an adequate bye-week fantasy option and potential FF emergency starter, as needed. We all need some insurance.

I was actually able to trade Greg Jones for a decent #2 WR because the owner of Fred Taylor got in a bind...it's nice to be have a little leverage if you need it too

  5. I'll do my best...if you have a chance, give me the top 10 of the QBs and RBs available. Even with this list, I have a tough time thinking there's anyone better than Westbrook.

Westbrook sounds like a no-brainer at this point, although I'm a huge fan of Bush and think you might want to consider taking that chance, Westbrook is tough to pass up this year. James-Jackson-Westbrook is a solid-to-excellent combo. If you take Westbrook, it's a statement that you are playing for this year. If you take Bush, it's a gamble on immediate greatness but really a statement that you are building for next year.

Thank-you for your response...I will probaby take Westbrook. I'm just not ready to concede this year. I know for a fact that Bush will be taken by the guy below me, but he can afford to take that risk and bench him all year. Unfortunately, I just can't do that because I really want him for next year

  6. I didn't take the trade...the guy is notorious for offering heinously unfair trades to see if anyone is stupid enough to take them.

He actually pulled off a Manning and Barber for Vick and Jamal Lewis two years ago....not to me, but some other really stupid guy in our league. This stupid guy kept 2 TE and Seattle's Defense this year....yeah...it's pretty nice having a guarenteed win every week we play him... :D :D

  7. Here are my keepers in an 8 team yahoo league...

    Drew Brees QB

    Mark Brunell QB

    Edgerin James RB

    Steven Jackson RB

    J.J. Arrington RB

    T. Houshmandzadeh WR

    Keenan McCardell WR

It's a big points league (we start 2 QB, 2 RB,2 WR, 1 TE, 2 K, 2 DEF and 3 Flex) so there are lots and lots of points. We are allowed to keep one "rookie keeper" each year. I have the #1 over all pick, and as you can tell from my keepers...I stunk last year. The stud RB, QB, and WR are all kept. According to the projections, the best available RB is Westbrook, QB is Plummer, and WR is Donald Driver or Reggie Wayne.

I know this is a bad situation to be in, but I'd really like to improve my team. I really don't know whether to take one of these guys or to go crazy and pick Reggie Bush...it seems crazy to take him #1 overall, but I have some guys in my league who are stacked enough to take him first round.

Some one just offered me Jamal Lewis for the pick...I've had no other offers.

    Any pointers??
