    Dynasty League

I have about 8 people so far, looking for 12. As soon as I have 12 "interested" people, I will send out the rules/constitution. This will be an auction draft with a salary cap. This will not be an IDP league. 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, te, k, def/spteam with one flex. More to follow

    Dynasty League

Currently I have about 6-7 heads for this, looking to have 12 before it is all said and done. This will be a auction draft with cap management. I am working on both the constitution/rules which will be complete shortly. Feel free to email me if you are interested.

It will have a low of 35 degrees in Miami tomorrow......so this may not be an issue.

  7. I know Rivers has LT which makes the world of a difference, but has any qb started off their career with stronger numbers and that few ints? Even Peyton had 20+ td's his first year in the league. Not that Rivers is Manning, but I think he will crack the top 5 next year. I guess Kurt Warner had an amazing first year as a starter, but can anyone else name a player with better stats than Rivers for a first year QB?

Has any QB in history ever had a better first season?

Yea, that was a joke. DMac, Cpep and warner are the three that come to mind. DMac did his #'s with about the same talent that rivers has a wr. Cpep and warner had some studs on teams that had carter, bruce and moss. Those cpep # are insane. My guess is he will be one of the best ever......... No wonder Saban got out before he could live up to that mistake.

Being a philly fan and that the season is over, I guess your fishing idea looks to be genius, but oh well. I just noticed that he was tied with brady in points this year and as a first year starter put up numbers that would have made Young be the next montana at this point.

Has any QB in history ever had a better first season?

Warner had nice #'s that year. Rivers wishes he had his wr's those years..... Dont tell me that Vincent Jackson makes a team worried about anything. Tommy Maddox?

First year starter. He did come out with Ben and Eli and destroyed both this year in stats. Both of those teams have a stud rb and MUCH better wr's than Rivers. In Rivers first 3 games this year he only tossed the ball 15 times a game on average, still finished the season as our 7th best qb in my league. Heck of a start for the 24 year old.. Great stats. Even though I do not think he is a "Marino", Rivers had more FF points this year than Marino had his first starting year. Any other qb's that anyone else can remember that had those type of stats as a first year starter?

    RB for '07

Since Dillion is scheduled to make about 5 mil next year, my guess is that he will get cut.

    ESPN has declared war....

As much as Eli has not looked that great, or even bad at times, it is still too soon to say he is a complete bust. Look at Hasselbeck, he was benched for Trent Dilfer in his third year as qb. He is now a pro bowl qb. Even Brees had some off years where people thought he was crap. He came around. It took Gannon a lifetime to become legit. If Eli does not have that ship moving by the end of year 3, then I would start to worry. In my eyes, Shockey has never lived up to what everyone thought he would be. Plex has all the talent in the world, but he has never put it all together for one season. But I will say this, Eli does kill a lot of worms with those passes. I am from Philly, and there are no more worms here since McNabb has killed them all.

  16. Last year I had Foster and I thought he would do well. Well, he got hurt. This year Foster fell to me in a late round but i have DeAngelo. Please Foster, just do what you do best........miss games.

Uh possible 3+ team tie for wildcard

Dizzy Bat works as well. Our problem is that since not every team please each other the same amount (not enough weeks in the season), we use division record since all teams have the same amount of division games.

    NFL Network is horrible

Now that would make me watch for sure. Football and that guy would be the best thing ever.

Has this year been rough on your fantasy teams?

We do this in a league I am in. I am the number 1 scoring team but I have played at 500. If you end up getting the second highest score and lose to the top scorer, you still finish at 500 for the week anyways. I rather be lucky than good any day.
  21. JibbaJabbah

Anyone else feeling this about SD @ Denver?

I think this game will be low scoring, but SD should win. Rivers is the real deal because when you have a LT and a Gates around you with a great defence, easy to be successful. He was much better that I thought he was going to be IMO.

    Commish Ethics?

The McNabb changes did not effect our league one bit. If the changes to Duce Mac are true, this will cause a tie between two teams. The team that is in first place lost last week, and the team that is in last place won. With these changes, the team in last would now lose and be out of the playoffs, even though he has won his last 4 games (not including this one). This is a money league and a group of friends. As the commish, do I make the changes and just sit back and wait for people to hate me, or do I just leave the rule (after Tuesday, cbssportsline does not adjust the stats) stand. I feel that fantasy football is 100% based on stats, but I rather not piss a bunch of owners off by making a change. What is the Ethical thing to do here?
  23. JibbaJabbah

    Commish Ethics?

I Cant agree more with that. I think cbssportsline gets paid to make these decisions. As a commish, i will be making the change, but it will come at a price that cbssportsline should have swallowed. If they would just update this, there would be a lot less complaining.
  24. JibbaJabbah

    Commish Ethics?

My biggest problem with this is that other leagues are making the changes, but cbssportsline, one of the most expensive sites to use, decides to put this on the commish. That is crap. Most leagues are a group of friends of some kind (in my case it is a family member that will lose their game). Since they host all the stats and points, why the hell do they ###### out on making a change. For all the $$ we give them, they should make the change like other leagues.
  25. JibbaJabbah

    Commish Ethics?

Well, at least now I know to add this type of "ruling" into the league so it does not happen again. The problem is not the McNabb pass, as it is Duce Mac losing 4 yards (if this is true). This makes his total go to 56 instead of 60, and that will change the outcome. I was all for adding the points to the McNabb thing because it did not change the outcome of any game, but did keep the scoring equal. Now if Duce loses a point, this changes the outcome and will be an issue. Worst of all, the Duce owner does not even know there was a change. I guess that is why it comes down to my own ethics. If I lost by one point, and then found out that the other team got a point taken away but cbssportsline would not do it, I would expect the change to be made. I would be pissed to be on the other end, but also I should not have won the game anyways...
