I could not agree more. I will say that the panthers have only had the ball at the goaline once this year. That could help some. I just don't see fox giving the rookie too many carries later in the season when they are trying to make a playoff push. Foster will be a low end #2 at best.
-
Sounds like way too much "politics" going on with that. I see the trade as fair. Farve has outscored Manning in my league so far this year. I do like C. Taylor as well. It all has to do with everyone has this thing for Manning.
-
Um, those were Marshal Faulks best years ever.
-
20 carries 85 yards. I think we will see more passing from the panthers.

Being from philly, I know they wont throw "illegal" pills on the field. A true philly fan will take the illegal ones.

This is by far the best comment of the day on this. Oh, and I know someone that tried to cut their wrists and was out of the hospital in 6 hours. It can happen. I thought all the crap he got is a product of what he produced, but i think it gets all blown out of proportion. When the 911 call is released, we will all know why this was or should not have been a suicide story.

Not true at all. I have seen someone admitted for this, and within 5 hours, was back at home. They did have to join a program or they could have been admitted into a psyc ward though. The patient has to agree to do this for releas. It will also include speaking with a social worker.

Dont know about that one, but I do know they threw batteries at Scott Roland at the Phillies game. I have no excuse for that one. Most Philly fans are real knowledgeable about football and sports. There are a few that are complete jerks. I bet this is true in any major city.

I was at that game. Irving had actually came over to the fans and was cursing out one fan and taunting others during pregame. Even Irving admitted that he was causing problems at the vet that day. At one point security told the dallas bench to keep their players on the sideline. That is why people at the vet cheered. Not a good reason, but look at the reaction to Owens situation from people outside of philly. It is very similar. Oh, and who were the fans throwing iceballs at the coaches and actually hurt somebody. NY.

Bipolar, treatable, yes. Cureable, no. Plus, there are so few meds that are shown to help this condition. They just soften the blows. I blame all of TO's "friends" and "family" for: A. Not helping him make good decisions B. Not having him go to a doctor. C. When someone is depressed, help them. Is this guy all alone or what?

Cant agree more. I have been around people with this problem. Sometimes they are 100% normal, sometimes they act as if the world is crashing in.....even when very little is wrong. It is a chemical thing, not something that is "developed". Being from philly, I am not a huge fan of TO. But I do hope he gets some help.

If this is true, sounds as if he is bi-polar. If he is, then his actions make more sense to me. I know someone that is bi-polar, and the "highs" and "lows" are extreme. I just don't know how I feel about this.

I know how cbssportsline can save bandwidth, but not putting adds and video's all over everything. People pay way too much to use them and when they get on they cant even see their scores. Next year I am going to write some software to create a better league. Are there any features that are "outside the box" that you wish were in any pay leagues?
-
So 200 yards and 5 tds is ok? That is what i am looking for. I am glad we can agree.
-
I will never pay for cbssportsline again

Thanks for some of the suggestions. Since I work in IT, it makes me mad that cbssportsline has not figured out how to get the sites working correctly a month into the season. Some years are better than others I am sure. Is anyone able to download the stats from the NFL, or do you have to pay to get that information as well. With the price as high as it is, it should run smooth. I even understand giving it a week or so. Also, with ESPN now doing all this fantasy stuff, one would think their service would be much better. I think it is a matter of time until a "small player" comes up and creates a hosting site that the price is right for that works. Competition is a good thing. -
I need Warrick Dunn and the Crump to get my 25 points. In our league, we give bonuses for 100+ yards. So 110 and td by dunn with some yards from the crump would do the job. Gonna be close.

If the Niners win I will stop wearing all of my gold chains. I pitty the fool.

Dynamic Dayne ??????

haha. No, I choose pure talent. Plummer. Being a philly homer, i just wanted to stay away from those final games. He did do well last week. Playing wash, nyg, and dallas all away in three straight weeks just seems a bit shaky for my taste. As I said, pure talent = plummer
-
Yea, until he has 4 straight divisional road games near the end of the year. One of the toughest in the league. Enjoy all of the home games early.... Oh yea, IF the eagles were to clinch their division, Reid will sit him for sure. Have fun with that too.
-
I think Westbrook and Steve Smith will miss this week. Smith will take another week to get up to speed and Westy is having problems moving in general. I think the Eagles think they can win without him anyways. Thoughts?
-
Which players do you think will be out this week
JibbaJabbah replied to JibbaJabbah's topic in FFToday Board
I also expect Housh to me MIA this week again. I just don't know how palmer will do against the Steelers this week. -
I pitty the fool.
-
I agree. 2 MRI missed that fact. Stupid Robots cant tell us anything.
-
Yes, I have. Expect him to be out for at least 2 more weeks. If he was going to get surgery, the MRI would have had to shown something.
