  1. Yeah I don't expect Simms to be this piss poor every game and definately give credit to Baltimore's defense they did a hell of a job.

I spent my first round pick on Caddy so I can't really bench him after one game. We'll see what happens next week.

  2. If I remember correctly he was a WR, RB and punt returner at Texas Tech like 3 or 4 years ago. Only reason I remember him is because I thought damn, that guy is fast to be white.

He was sort of a do it all player because of his speed.

I never thought he would look as fast as he did in college playing in the NFL. I'm starting to believe I was dead wrong since he looks like greased lighting against a very fast Pitt D.

I don't think he's worth a roster spot unless you have more then 12 teams in your league and 15 or higher roster spots.

So since he played for Texas would that make him "Welker Texas Ranger?" ;)

  3. From what I read it's just a matter of time (if that time isn't now) before Collins takes over in Tenn. I'm not a huge fan of his, but out of the QB's listed he's probably your best bet against Houston in week 8 instead of Brad Johnson against the Patriots. He can huck the rock... Just so happens a lot of the time it's to the other team. :P

  4. None for me either because I didn't know about this site prior to my draft. I did however pick up Lundy out of FA because no one else had heard of him either! I give the kudos to this site for informing me early about him. He's riding the bench, but if he becomes something then I have the site to thank! :dunno:

  5. Anyone have any information on his situation in Oakland? I just checked the Raiders website and they have Alvis Whitted opposite Moss. I've heard Curry, now I'm seeing Whitted. With the Gabriel trade I figured they worked out their problems and Porter would go back into that spot. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

  6. Not sure about Yahoo, but the one I'm in takes 1/3 of the league to disagree for it to be voided. The trade once accepted gives the owners 2 days to make their decisions. If they don't make any decision after the 2 days their vote goes in as a yes. Once the decisions are made and if it's approved it's instantly added to yours/theirs rosters.

  7. I personally would rather have Gore than Taylor. Who will have a better year? Not sure. I will say this though, the Vikings have a much better line then SF. Both will see their fair share of touches. I would probably go with Gore week 1 against Arizona.

  8. Well if the draft has been done and the rules have been set... I would say that's golden and can't be changed. If a rule needed to be changed, as league commish I would need 100% league backing, the problem then seems to be how to enforce it if you can't make the changes in the system.

With that being said I would say the rules stand the way they are, he'll be unhappy and the issue can be brought up again next year.

    Just my .02

  9. The people who say it sucks are the people who don't help in return. Every single time I've ever solicited help over there i've gotten atleast 10 responses. That's because I help 15 other people and post a link to my help question.

This guy is the type of guy who comes over to your house for dinner and doesn't bring a 12 pack of beer with him.

Like I've said before when this topic has come up. When I post a question over there I hang out and answer a few here and there, but I don't then in turn say HERE ANSWER MINE! I just don't like the whole, "You show me yours I'll show you mine" mentality that comes with the board. I'm not saying I never get any answers to my questions, I have and it can be helpful. At the same time it can be a pain. You just have to be willing to play the game on that board.

With that out of my system, this isn't my original post. I was just making a comment to the guy who did post it that he thought posting his help question here was a better solution then posting where it's supposed to be. When everyone jumps all over you about posting on the wrong board.
