okay, found your link. wow- you were right about not having mcuh to pick from as opposed to the FAs in my league (BTW-thanks again for looking). not sure if you already made any changes yet but i'd have to say that with your options i'd agree with blackbones

  2. Must be an 8 team league< iwould love to be lookin at these FAs. Anyways I would proball y Swap out Cin dst for the Chargers, the only real problem would be that the Chargers bye is next week. I would probally drop Green ( just because you really dont need to hold onto 3 qbs if your only starting 1 and pick up R.Droughns , he is a bonfide #1 rb and will be huge later on when you or someone else gets injury problems at rb. Im not sure if I really helped but havent ever had so much to pick from ( im in a 12 team keague) and I think that the stratedgy would just be so different. Please respond to mine below ( waiver help) Look at what I havew to pick from!

can you attach the link? sorry...couldn't find it to respond

and thanks to all for any help

  4. if you already had one of the stud RBs, who would be worth the trade? it would be tough for me to give one for them up. you can certainly make the offers but i wouldn't expect too much to come of it. check the rest of their rosters for any weak positions and see if you can use that in your trade. and thanks for answering mine.

  5. just got offered a trade: trent green for david carr and d. mcallister

here's the rest of his team if you can think of a counter offer

    QB - J. Plummer, D. Carr

    RB - D. Foster, T. Bell, D. McAllister

    WR - L. Fitzgerald, P. Burress, T. Carter

    TE - T. Gonzalez

    K - J. Feely

    DEF- Tampa Bay, Arizona

  6. i would definitely try to dump pennington before green. maybe that person with 5 QBs would be interseted in a package of TE and pennington...if they have someone worthwhile for you. otherwise i like brooks from your available QBs since oakland is supposed to have one of the easiest pass defense schedules.

  7. from Yahoo! Sports site (not sure if this is helpful to you or not):

Aug 24: Head coach Joe Gibbs said Portis' rehab is ahead of schedule and that he expects the running back to be starting in Week 1, the Washington Post reports.

Recommendation: Portis is known as a quick healer and has been able to play through pain in the past. But with the addition of T.J. Duckett it is obvious the Redskins are concerned about Portis' shoulder possibly being an issue the entire season.

i agree with mccombsau that "I worry about portis and his situation but I just don't think you will get enough right now for him"

    :dunno:

  8. MOCK DRAFT

i agree with shake_a_leg to practice on the mock draft - the more you can the better

    QUALITY STARTERS

It's important to fill your roster with quality starters at all skill positions to have a better chance at success. So you might want to draft a WR if he's rated higher than the next available RB.

    WAIVER WIRES

Make sure you work the waiver wire during the season.

and remember that you would've won last year (and you picked last) - not bad. I think you'll be okay. Don't give up! This could be your year!

    :P

  9. :( i like this team also. you've got some solid starters.

    RBs:

~Tiki Barber is a solid starter every week

~Clinton Portis is known as a quick healer who has been able to play through pain in the past. But with the addition of T.J. Duckett it is obvious the Redskins are concerned about Portis' shoulder possibly being an issue the entire season.

~Frank Gore will be given the chance to carry the bulk of with load with Hicks now that Barlow is gone.

~T.J. Duckett - Check out how he does tonight against New England.

~Deuce McAllister - Monday’s game against Dallas will be helpful to determine if his right knee is nearly fully recovered.

    WRs:

~Chris Chambers is another solid start on any given week. He seems to have built a pretty good rapport with Culpepper.

~Donald Driver is certainly capable of scoring more than the 5 TDs from last year and has been Favre’s most reliable target

~T.J. Houshmandzadeh should exceed expectations if Palmer can stay healthy

~Keenan McCardell should continue to exceed expectations again this year despite age.

~Jerry Porter considered a solid no. 3 since he is prone to spectacular catches as well as conspicuous drops. I'd listen to patsgirl and find someone else.

~Eric Moulds definitely brings the experience and past productivity to Houston.
