So now you are measuring his intelligence? How So? The thing is, people do not want to give him a chance. He has started 4 games at the NFL level and has won 50% of them. What statistics are you using to show he "can not" be successful? I am looking at scoreboard. Most rookies get a chance to improve but for some reason the detractors do not think Tebow should get the chance. , Tebows accuracy looked great in the final 4 minutes of the game, yet all we hear about are his misses early in the game. The bottom line is, we have 10 more games to find out what he is about. The Broncos are not in the Luck sweepstakes so we mine as well figure otu if Tebow can play QB. It is going to take more than 4 games to find that out.

Tebow did look terrible for 55 minutes yesterday in the Miami game. Yet, he is 2-2 as an NFL starter. You could dismiss half the QB's in the league if you were judge them by one terrible game.

How many people in this thread who are arguing for Orton have actually watched every Bronco game since Orton has been a starter. I know I have - and all the other bronco fans. That is why there were chants to put in Tebow. The fans are tired of watching mediocre QB play. Regardless of record, when Tebow came in last year the games felt different. Bronco fans felt we had a chance to come back, we were scoring td's in the redzone and a lot of fans had hope again. Monday night was like watching a rerun except now we have Von Miller. Unless you are a bronco fan I don't see why you care who starts. unless you like to argue just for the sake of arguing.

Maybe it has to be said again so people can understand the situation. Is Orton the QB of the future? Are the Broncos good enough to win today? If not then why waste time starting a QB like Orton only to win 4 games again? If Tebow is as bad as all the expert analyst in this thread are stating and Orton is not a Franchise QB then why not just pit Tebow in, let him fail and lose every game, and draft luck next year? You then will prove to the fans that Tebow is not the answer and at the same time put a product on the field that will be decent to watch while heading to the luck lottery. Personally, I can't stand to watch Orton another year. I have seen enough.

If you are not a Bronco fan or have not watched all the games with Orton, you will not see what his problems are. It is the same exact things the Bears fans used to say about him after McDaniels traded away a potential franchise QB because of his moronic ego problems. Orton is a good to average QB, he wont win games for you but he will manage the game and minimize mistakes. That is what he is, if you actually watch all the games like I do.

1-2 versus 5-18 with Orton. MAybe fans just want to have some hope rather than watch the "Statue 2" stall in the red zone week after week. IF we were more efficient in the redzone we would have won more games with Orton, unfortunately with a game manager they can't make plays when everything breaks down, hence the dreadful red zone efficiency.

Sometimes I wonder if Elway wants to bury him so Elway can remain the most exciting Bronco QB for eternity.

I am not a Tebow fan I am a Bronco Fan, I watch every game. Orton is effective between the 20's and sucks in the red zone. We lost many games settling for field goal after field Goal. He is a back up quarterback - period. He cant make play's when things break down and he never brings you back from behind. At the end of last year (I thought Tebow won 2/3 but he was 1/3) Which is still a much better ratio then Orton was last year. The big difference is with Tebow we actually scored touchdowns and even had a come from behind victory. The differential in points was much less even with the same porous defense. There is a reason Why Chicago flopped between Grossman and Orton - Orton appears to have the tools to be successful, but he is mediocre. IF Tebow will never be a successful QB then lets find out and get in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, because Orton will not lead this team to anything but mediocrity. Also, I love the clowns who act is if they can evaluate NFL players when they really just repeat what they hear on ESPN. Remember, the experts all thought Ryan Leaf was the best QB in the draft and how did that turn out?

In 3 starts Tebow won as many games as Orton did in 13 last year. I think they should bring Tebow in for red zone action because Orton blows in the redzone.I know it is popular to parrot the ESPN experts and say Orton gives the broncos the best chance to win, but last years results say different. I have had enough of Orton. The offense is very boring to watch when he is in.
