all I can be hopefully for after this game is that NE beat Denver At home last year as well
-
They are both pretty fockin good and will finish probably top 3 QBs of all time. Patriots fans will take Brady every time and Colts fans will take Manning every time. But until Manning wins in Denver I'll say Denver fans will take Elway over Peyton
very true
-
I own him, but I won't start anyone who only gets 5 touches a game.
-
I'm not usually interested in this type of comparison, but, Brady is married to the top earning super model in the world and in terms of prestige that alone shits all over everyone else in most people's eyes. We live in a matriarchy. Men are judged almost entirely by their women.
I disagree, we are talking football, I could care less who his wife is. But if you want to bring up non football subjects in play, I have more respect for guys who don't wear Uggs (which I am sure his super model wife had some influence over). In fact if one of my buddies was wearing Uggs because his super hot wife wanted him to, he would catch endless in my circles.

Please don't make me bust out Manning's stats in big games (games that ended his season.) I don't want to make you look sillier than you already do. Though I probably have the data in an old post of mine, I'd just do a search.
Regardless of the past, the manning envy he refers too is in the presence. Who would you rather be this season?

I hate the focking Patriots... just so I fully disclose my bias.
Problem is (as I see it) that the NFL has apparently decided that Offense and Star Players are the way to sell football for the future.
Somebody from the NFL should check out how that strategy worked for the NBA.
When "throw it in the endzone and look for the penalty" is a viable strategy... there is a problem.
I am in 100% agreement with this. Until the past couple years I never questioned NFL referees. Now I believe that NFL is going the way of the NBA, a joke . don't fix what isn't broken. I think the NFL went through this in the 80s didn't they?
Also didn't Goodel work with David stern at some point in his career? hmmm

I ended up benching him, good thing.

it's sunny right now but still cold.
-
yeah averaging around 10 targets the last 3 games then 0????
-
yeah no kidding where the hell is he?
-
well that settles that
-
I agree, I was looking at millers history and every time he got the ball more than 10 times he was around 100 yards. Lat week was an exception against the Jets run D though. tough one, I lose this week I am out.

-
yep, would you start him over Zac Stacy going against Arizona this week?
-
After what Mereno did to NE last week I kept Tate in. was the right guess this week.
-
Obviously Tate is still the starter after last week.
-
what a fluky way for Denver to lose that game. I feel like New England has won a couple of them like that this year
-
I kept romo in
-
I agree, unbelievable
-
wondering the same thing
-
doesn't he have 4 cracked ribs?
-
how about RG3 this week over Romo? RG3 has all that drama and is playing the 49rs but the wind thing has me worried
-
yeah, his absence is killing my playoff chances tonight. Especially since I am up against brees
-
what kills them is they go away from what works for them - running. They run the ball instead of the empty backfield in that last series they may not have given the ball back to brees. week after week they blow off their running game.. it is unfrickingbelievable
-
why the would they put d Thomas in, his YPC is much lower than miller

Biased would be 10 penalties to 0 for 100+ yards againt one team. Kind of like the Denver Chicago game a week ago. In spite of the bias the Broncos still won.
it's rich to hear Pats fans complaining about phantom calls going againt them.. I would say the previous two weeks the teams that played against the Pats could say exactly the same thing.
