It's fine. You are the NCAA football guy who says it's flawed, will always be flawed, and it doesn't interest me guy. There are a lot of things that I'm not interested in too. Just so you know, a 12 team playoff is different than simply having the top two or four ranked teams playing for the championship. You should have just said you don't care about it in your first post and then left the thread. Dang, what a sourpuss....

A couple years ago my superflex dynasty team had Deshaun Watson and no 2nd QB option. Therefore my team couldn't compete. Since then, I drafted Richardson, Daniels, and Penix (late second round) in my rookie drafts. Hopefully Penix and Richardson can do something. I'm optimistic. And still Watson if he ever decides to give it a go again. I need RBs now. Hopefully I can grab that Ashton Jeanty dude next draft.

Yeah, it's kind of fun. It's like a mini NCAA men's basketball tourney.

There is a lot that will come to light after this playoff season for these teams and the new format. These teams all won by blowouts. What was the point of adding in these additional teams if they provide little to no competition? How will this affect both the teams that played and won easily, and the teams who had a bye when they play each other? The bye teams such as Arizona State will not have played a game for over 3 weeks while teams like Texas won and will now have that game play under their belt with 10 days to rest up any injuries. There are rules about how much time the students are allowed to practice. I'm not sure that will affect the teams who played a game vs those who haven't. And hell, Arizona State is ranked #4 in the country and given the bye, while Texas is ranked #5, and they played yesterday, and are now favored by 13.5 over the higher ranked Sun Devils. Penn State is favored by 10.5 over the Broncos who outrank them by 3 spots. It may not ultimately interest you, but there will be tons of discussions going on about this format when this bowl season is over. And I'm not saying it will be all bad. Just that there will be some scrutiny (which is not always a bad thing for the game) and possible tweaks in the coming years.

This is a learning year. This won't be the norm I'm thinking.

Texas is really good. I think you may win your over, but not the game. I'm considering Tennessee as they are so underrated by the average fan. I definitely want to watch Arizona State again though.
