Kids take candy from strangers these days? I thought they only do friends and neighbors now because of all the crap that happened in the longer past. I almost never see kids going house to house to house outside of organized trick or treating.

The chaos unfolded after the Dodgers overcame a five-run deficit to beat the New York Yankees, 7-6, in Game 5 of the World Series. Despite the victory in the Bronx, fans flooded the streets of downtown Los Angeles. Law enforcement issued a warning to Dodgers fans on social media to avoid the area and "celebrate responsibly." However, the LAPD quickly issued a dispersal order after the crowd appeared to get out of hand. According to several updates shared on X, the LAPD said a "hostile crowd" began throwing fireworks and projectiles at officers. In another post shared by the LAPD, disorderly fans were also seen throwing rocks and bottles at officers. Police also said several stores in the area were also looted and vandalized, and that arrests had been made. It was not immediately clear how many suspects were taken into custody. An MTA bus in the area of Sunset and Echo Park was also vandalized and eventually set on fire.

I saw a documentary some years back about the savage gangs in Minnesota and around. I don't think it was somalis at the time. I think it was just a bunch of bad ass Asian and Central American thugs who killed for fun. Good job of them adding somalis to the equation. I 'm sure that helped.

What is a double colonoscopy? Had my first colonoscopy last year. It was more efficient than going to the DMV for any reason. And it didn't hurt like the DMV does. At the same time they needed to check my esophagus. Laid down on a table, was put out, and woke up not even knowing anything happened. Got dressed, went home and had a few beers.

Never been to Minnesota. I haven't really formed a good opinion of their larger cities over the years.

Why does it upset you that the states have the power to govern themselves? I like smaller federal government control. And do democrats put conservatives on the supreme court? I never look at polls at all. They don't really interest me. I do get entertained a bit on election night at about like 9pm EST or so. That can be fun to a degree. All the biitching and moaning is over and results are coming in later in the evening. It's kind of fun.
