I would go with Jarrard cause he is at home and Jax play better at home, plus being the first game of the season they will be pumped. Rex will struggle in SD but he will be a good option at home in Week 2 against KC !!

i dropped Jets defense vs NE and picked up the Raiders def vs. Det. I am also debating if I should start Big Ben vs Cle or Delhomme vs Stl. or Garrard vs Tenn ?? I only have Big Ben, but roster spot open to grab a better matchup QB ? what y'all think ?

Kevin Jones, RB DET News: MLive.com confirms that Lions RB Kevin Jones will be placed on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list, costing him the first five games of the season (the Lions have a bye in Week 6). After Week 6, Jones will have a three-week window to come off the PUP list or else will miss the entire 2007 season. According to the report, Jones' foot is almost healed, but the team wants to play it safe and make sure he's ready as healthy as can be. The club expects him to return without losing any of his trademark speed or ability. Analysis: This was expected considering Jones' injury late last season and his PUP status this preseason. Fantasy owners can mark Tatum Bell as the Lions' starter, with T.J. Duckett stealing short-yardage and goal-line reps. As for Jones, keep expectations low for this season since when he does return in Week 7, he'll still have to split reps with Bell and Duckett. according to CBS sportsline: Chris Chambers, WR MIA News: The Miami Herald has caught on to an NFL Network report that suggests the Dolphins are willing to trade WR Chris Chambers. The club thinks Chambers is a good player, but with rookie WR Ted Ginn, Jr. playing well this preseason, the team is considering its options. Chambers is scheduled to make over $7 million this season and had an arrest late this offseason after being charged with a DWI in North Carolina; he has since pled not guilty. Analysis: Fantasy owners have been waiting for Chambers to explode into a dynamo receiver, but it's never happened. While he's been Miami's No. 1 WR for years, he would be a No. 2 option on most other teams. If he gets traded, the only way he'll be of value immediately this season is if it's with a club whose offense he's already familiar with (St. Louis would be one, but they probably are not interested). He did also mention that he plans on making sure that CJ and TJHoush both get into the Pro Bowl this season. He was comparing them two to Wayne/Harrison and he feels he can get that accomplished. Also NFL network mentioned that TJHoush predicted on making the Pro Bowl this year !!

I have heard to keep an eye on the Vikings and even the Colts. I have the Jets and i am thinking of dropping them for another defense but not sure on which one to grab yet.

The Jets are thinking about signing Dillon .. here is the story : Corey Dillon, RB NE News: According to The Sports Xchange, the Jets could pick up a veteran who isn't currently on a team as a backup RB. Former Patriot Corey Dillon's name has been floated, and coach Eric Mangini said, "I spent a lot of time with him and got to know him, even though I was on the other side of the ball [coaching defense]. We used to joke a lot in practice. It was a good relationship for someone that you didn't spend a lot of time with in meetings and things like that. ... [but] we're focusing on the guys that are here. But, like anything else, we're always open to possibilities." Analysis: Unless Dillon signs with the Jets or anyone else, he should not be drafted in any Fantasy leagues this year. If you have a roster spot, would you pick him up ?

but you do know what this means now.. he isn't going to run as hard like he used to.. he got his money and just like any big time players who get their money, they always perform a lot less compared to prievous years. what you all think ? true or not ? Also, one more note, after a big contract like this, the player usually gets nicked up during the season. He got his money and he knows that the team sucks, so why try hard anymore ? just a thought !

I am from KC and I heard this morning that he is in town today, so looks like something might happen either tomorrow or Wednesday of this week. He was in Arizona working out at some athlete training facility. If he came back, that must mean something.

It is 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def starting positions on Sportsline. I am leaning toward SA and then a Top #1 WR in round two and three .. any inputs ? 1st round - SA or Peyton ? 2nd round - WR 3rd round -WR 4th round - RB

i am in the same exact situation on tonights draft.. i am leaning toward LJ or SA or even thinking Peyton M. Here is what I think: LJ - he is demanding all this money and he will have to be forced to put up good numbers despite the team he is on. If he screws up this season, he will be talked about all-around the league and also by the public. so he got some pressure on him big time ! SA - he is back in form again and he is actually on a decent team with a good QB. Unlike LJ who is the only focus on the team, SA will get you at least one or maybe two TD's a game and he will get you min. of 15-20 fantasy points per game. With this pick, you should come around with a high-end WR in the second round. Peyton M. - He will dominate like always, but are you willing to build around him, you can. Go with him in the first round, and then with the best RB on the board in 2nd round , and then the best WR or TE (Gates) in the 3rd round.

Some of the players have said that he looks the same on the practice field but he hasn't started putting on pads yet until few more weeks, but I would grab him and stash him on your bench for some weird developments from KC. Your thoughts ?
