IRS may turn over tax data to immigration officials

Told you all in the OP this might happen. https://x.com/CBSNews/status/1909715200913056100 The IRS said that it has agreed to share immigrants' tax data with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to help identify and deport undocumented immigrants. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/internal-revenue-service-immigrant-tax-data-ice/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&linkId=793804145

Is this what FBGs was like?

It didn't happen and you know it. It is impossible for me or anyone else to find a post of Joe telling me to stop posting tweets because he never said that. No one could prove Joe didn't say something, they can only prove what he did say. One cannot prove a negative.

Fun Fact: You haven't seen the receipts because they don't exist. When someone makes a claim, if their claim is disputed, then the burden is upon them to provide the link and prove it. You know it is a fabrication when you ask for a link and their response is: "I won't do your homework for you"

Is this what FBGs was like?

Not always, he often posted a tweet by someone like Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport without comment (you see because it was a news item and similar to what I was doing reposting tweets from, let's say, Kyle Griffin.

Dude, I have said several times that Joe told me to cut back or cut down on the number of tweets I was posting, but he didn't say to stop tweeting entirely (and it makes no sense that he would given that he was posting tweets himself on a daily basis).

    Fixed your post:

Is this what FBGs was like?

Translation: I'm lying about what Joe said and can't provide a link.

Is this what FBGs was like?

And that is how I know for sure you are lying, because I remember specfically what Joe said to me, and it wasn't to stop posting tweets in the PSF. Once again, if it is factual that Joe told me that, provide a link (which should be really easy being an ex-mod. )

Is this what FBGs was like?

Yeah, right. And if anyone believes that I got a bridge I want to sell them.
  10. squistion

Is this what FBGs was like?

False. And you can't provide a link to Joe saying that. And, once again, what handle did you post under? I keep asking that and you keep avoiding an answer. Your detailed knowledge of Tim and I there indicates you were probably a pretty active poster on the PSF and not just a lurker.
  11. squistion

Is this what FBGs was like?

Not true. Joe only told me (paraphrasing) to cut back and reduce the number of tweets I was posting. Joe never told me to stop posting tweets entirely, probably because he was posting tweets himself on a daily basis, mostly in the SP. It would have been laughably hypocritical if he had asked me to stop while he kept reposting tweets himself.
  12. squistion

Is this what FBGs was like?

No they didn't, but the false narrative (that Joe Bryant would also find revisionist) keeps getting repeated that you and I got the PSF closed.
  13. Panican seems to be a blend of Panic and Republican, which looks to be directed at the MAGA folks and those who voted for Trump (they are the ones panicking now over the impact of the tariffs). Those of us on the left tried to warn you this would happen. We weren't conned by the false promise of lower egg and grocery prices (we said to believe Trump about the tariffs, so this debacle was not unexpected and we are not panicking).

Since the mods never identified who was banned (or why) it can't be stated as a fact that conservatives were banned more. It did seem like it was more conservatives, but maybe it was because that they were more vocal about it. That said, I do agree with your assessment of Clayton Gray.
  15. 9-0 SCOTUS said I am right about due process.

Is this what FBGs was like?

And to repeat FTR once again, after complaints about my posting "random tweets" Joe did ask me to "tone it down" and to post less tweets... However, he didn't ask me to stop posting tweets entirely, because he was doing it himself on a daily basis mostly in the Shark Pool.
  17. I said that repeatedly in the thread about the Columbia student Kahlil Mahmood, who was arrested and deported: Citizen or non-citizen, here legally or illegally, everyone is entitled to due process under the law in this country.
  18. squistion

Is this what FBGs was like?

    False and complete nonsense.

Is this what FBGs was like?

Warned me about what? What handle do you or did you post under there? You seem to be overly familiar with my posting history at the PSF.
  20. That can't be right. I keep seeing a 15 second video clip of him saying that. Is there more context? Did he mis-speak?

Is this what FBGs was like?

The “top secret“ FBG MAGA Facebook group was a fiction. It never existed, they pretended it did to give the appearance that they had some sort of inside information from the mods. It had the flavor of an urban legend they perpetuated to make them appear to have some degree of power or importance (of which in reality, they had none).
  22. The priniciple is the same. I think JP Morgan said a few days ago, that the odds of a global recession are 60% (and probably higher now). If that is the case the tariffs will only make any recession worse and not better.
  23. The fear is real for anyone familiar with history and the consequences of The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. A short summary: The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, signed into law in 1930, raised tariffs on thousands of imported goods to protect American businesses and farmers, but it ultimately worsened the Great Depression by sparking retaliatory tariffs from other nations and significantly reducing global trade.
  24. Because virtually all leading economists say that tariffs don't work and the cost will be passed on to the American consumer. It is like instead of putting on the brakes, Trump is accelerating to take the US economy over a cliff.
