I know that none of us were alive when it happened, but if people on this forum can support the Jan 6 attack on the Capitol maybe there are some here that will defend what the Japanese did on Dec 7, 1941. Just to give some much needed context to the creation of this thread. On this forum at that time, there were a whole series of threads entitled something like: "Who here still supports the US Civil War?" and "Who here still supports the D-Day invasion?" etc.(probably at least a half dozen). They were all joking variations of a thread that someone started "Who here supports" (something, can't remember now) and this was my contribution to the list.

I believe I spoke out against it on the PSF, since he was a US citizen. It was a gray area since he had joined a terrorist organization that was plotting attacks against the US IIRC. We don't deny anyone the right due process in this country under the Constitution just because they are a bad person. The concept is, that if Trump is allowed to do that against Garcia then he would have the right to arrest anyone, citizen or non-citizen and throw them in a foreign prison with no charges brought against them or any justification ever given by the government. I am amazed that Conservatives and Republcans support what was done to Garcia because the ends justify the means (even though they are un-constitutional).

As noted earlier we are backing the concept of due process in the Constitution, not Abrego Garcia, per se. I would imagine that most Americans understand the real issues involved in this case. And it should be noted that police never charged Abrego Garcia with domestic violence.

You edited out the part where I noted that I am against trans males competeing against women. Still this so seldom happends that it is not newsworthy IMO and certainly not enough for each incident merit its own thread.

I am on record saying that trans (male) should not be allowed to compete against girls/women. But I don't get the obsession of starting new threads about this constantly in this forum.
