Trump changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico reminds me of the film "Bananas" where a Fidel Castro type dictator of a Latin American country announces "From this day on, the official language of San Marcos will be Swedish"

But there has not been one organization in this country that has taken the "T" out of LGBTQ. Not one, which means gays/lesbians/bisexuals/Qs in those organizations don't have any problem with the 'Ts" being lumped in with them (or the letter would be removed, wouldn't it?)

Trump didn't win a majority of the votes cast, so there was no mandate here. America has not spoken (or if it did it was by a narrow 1.5% of the votes cast plurality).

Not if the reason is they are saying no is only because the applicants are Women, Blacks, Latinos, Jews, Muslims, LGBTQ, etc.

How many organizations call themselves just LGB or LGBQ and not LGBTQ? They are not considered "totally different" from LGBTQ folks, if they were the "T" would not have been included for the last 30 or so years.

Due process under the law has nothing to do with whether you are a citizen or not, it applies to everyone here in the US per the Constitution (look it up).

Everyone within the jurisdiction of this country has a constitutional right to due process, one does not have to be a citizen.

He doesn't own the Gulf so he can't just unilaterally change the name and expect the rest of the world to go along with it. Does that mean Trump can change the name of California too, since he is President and it is of Spanish origin?
