  1. Which of course proves he is anti-Trump...oh, wait...
  2. Exactly. "These people are usually pretty entertaining" (you don't refer to a group you are a part of a "these people" you refer to others as these people) Plus the protest was on the campus of a school he attended, so he probably didn't have to go out of his way to see it.
  3. It appears he attended the anti-Trump protests to ridicule the protesters, not as a participant.
  4. I see this being reported in other posts but I have not personally verified the veracity. https://x.com/search?q="Florida State University"&src=trend_click&vertical=trends The 20 year-old Florida State University alleged school shooter, Phoenix Ikner, the son of a Leon County Sheriff's deputy whose gun he used, is a Republican who quotes the Bible and made fun of anti-Trump protesters. Not trans. Not an illegal immigrant.
  5. Told you all in other threads this was going to happen. It is just the beginning and will only get worse unless the courts, particularly SCOTUS, can stop Trump.
  6. That was inappropriate commentary in the OP.
  7. This keeps getting worse. https://x.com/kylegriffin1/status/1912896344345497915 Trump's Department of Homeland Security has sent a letter to Harvard threatening to revoke its eligibility to enroll international students unless it submits information on international students' disciplinary records and protest participation. Statement from Harvard: "Harvard values the rule of law and expects all members of our community to comply with University policies and applicable legal standards. If federal action is taken against a member of our community, we expect it will be based on clear evidence, follow established legal procedures, and respect the constitutional rights afforded to all individuals."
  8. https://x.com/David_J_Bier/status/1912883307286536205 WOW. One of the Venezuelans who Kristi Noem tried to render to El Salvador's slave prison managed to avoid removal and was able to make it to immigration court, and you'll never guess what happened: THE GOVERNMENT GAVE NO EVIDENCE OF HIS GANG MEMBERSHIP. Due process ftw
  9. https://x.com/kylegriffin1/status/1912531652154388677 California Gov. Gavin Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta are suing the Trump admin over the Trump tariffs. The lawsuit argues Trump doesn't have the presidential authority to unilaterally impose tariffs using the International Economic Emergency Powers Act.
  10. Even when he is not proven wrong that is his playbook, which I why I put him on ignore.
  11. Um, no, we won't agree with you because we aren't all anti-Muslim bigots and racists.
  12. U.S. officials on Saturday said that Abrego Garcia is "alive and secure" but who really knows (and I don't trust the source).
  13. https://x.com/kylegriffin1/status/1912206803565498693 Attorneys for Kilmar Abrego Garcia said in new a filing that the Trump admin has not even attempted to get the mistakenly deported man returned to the U.S. — despite orders from a federal judge and the Supreme Court. "The Government's updates do not indicate that any steps have been taken to comply with this Court's and the Supreme Court's orders. There is no evidence that anyone has requested the release of Abrego Garcia."
  14. Exactly, also: Balmer was registered to vote in Pennsylvania but was listed as "no affiliation" for his political party, according to records from the state department.
  15. Or to put it another way: Being an undocumented immigrant, often referred to as an "illegal alien," is a legal status. It signifies a person's lack of legal authorization to be present in the United States.
  16. Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland on CNN: https://x.com/atrupar/status/1912147276388069698 (2:00 video clip at link) Van Hollen: "I applaud Harvard's decision not to give in to bullying from the Trump administration. Donald Trump believes in 1st Amendment rights for himself, but apparently for nobody else ... the whole purpose of 1A is you don't have the government dictating speech as the Trump administration is trying to do."
  17. https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/education/obama-praises-harvard-university-gets-funding-frozen-due-resisting-trump?utm_medium=social_media&utm_source=twitter_social_icon&utm_campaign=social_icons Obama says Harvard 'set an example' for how colleges should reject Trump's demands Former President Barack Obama says Harvard University has "set an example" for how colleges should respond to President Trump's demands for change – even at the risk of losing billions in federal funding. He posted his thoughts on social media late Monday, after the Trump administration called for Harvard to make changes including an end to antisemitism. After the Ivy League school said no, the administration froze $2.2 billion in federal grants and $60 million in contracts. "Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions – rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking concrete steps to make sure all students at Harvard can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect," Obama wrote on the social media platform X. Obama attended Harvard's law school and in 1990 became the Harvard Law Review's first black president. Some of the administration's demands included implementing merit-based hiring, reforming programs with a history of antisemitism and getting rid of "diversity, equity and inclusion" policies. Harvard President Alan Garber said the university would not comply with these demands.
  18. That is a fundamental part of our Constitution that some people here keep ignoring. The Founding Fathers did not believe that the right to due process under the law should be selective and apply only to those who we like or agree with. SCOTUS affirmed that in a 9-0 ruling that Trump is ignoring.
