    Blame Canada!

You might, but I don't know any Canadians that feel that way.
  2. Nope. You have no evidence from anything she or Democrats have said to indicate that.
  3. That is the UK. Liberals would not say this is OK here as it would obviously be deemed unconstitutional. Encouraging people to riot is not the same as yelling fire in a theatre. Please.

There is ample history and precedent for the legality of appointing a Special Counsel, going back for decades to Nixon. In fact, it older than that, with the first one appointed in 1875. https://projects.voanews.com/russia-investigation/history.html#:~:text=The first investigation by a,to siphon off tax revenues. Today I learned per jbycho, that the Capitol Police are not really police officers and that they are called police just for fun.

AOC wants to be top foil to Trump

So...how would AOC becoming the top Democrat of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability make her the "Top Foil" to Trump"? Wouldn't that be the minority leader of the House?

United Healthcare CEO shot, killed in midtown NYC

You agree that The Presidential Medal of Freedom should be given to those who assaulted police officers with baseball bats, chemical sprays, crowbars, fire extinguishers and flagpoles? Really?
  11. You would think they might take the time to look up such an absurd claim before repeating as if it were gospel.
  12. When I heard the news of this tragic shooting, my first thought was "What willTaylor Lorenz have to say on this?"

    Biden-Harris administration supporting minor transition

No, she was more than qualified: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketanji_Brown_Jackson#:~:text=She received her undergraduate and,the United States Sentencing Commission. Jackson was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her undergraduate and legal education at Harvard University, where she served as an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and clerked for Justice Stephen Breyer, whose seat she later assumed on the Supreme Court.[3] From 2010 to 2014, Jackson was the vice chairwoman of the United States Sentencing Commission. In 2013, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as a district judge for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. President Joe Biden elevated her to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in 2021, where she served until 2022.
  14. The Constitution requires that a defendant be given due process under the law. Given the irreversible nature of this punishment; SCOTUS is trying to prevent the government from taking a life without following all of the strict procedural safeguards, so that an innocent person does not receive the death penalty. Fun Fact: According to most studies, a life sentence without parole is generally considered to be significantly cheaper than executing a defendant, as the legal process involved in a death penalty case is much more complex and expensive, leading to higher overall costs for the state.
  15. Sorry, but SCOTUS says there is this pesky thing in the Constitution called "due process" that must be given to anyone who has been sentenced to death.
  16. It does not generally take 30 years. As of 2020 there was an average of 18.9 years from sentencing until execution. And SCOTUS is the reason. There is an extensive and lengthy appeals process set by the courts that must be followed (as much as some folks would like to fast track it).

This isn't about cutting off parts of kids, it is about gender affirming hormone therapies, not surgery.

    President Biden pardons son Hunter

https://x.com/karlykingsley/status/1863457612823453728 You all are acting like Hunter Biden stole classified documents and tried to overturn a free and fair election. Relax.

    President Biden pardons son Hunter

He had made the claim (paraphrasing) how the Democratic Party has always been racist. I pointed out that LBJ was the one chiefly responsible for getting The Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed. He should have just admitted he was wrong or called TCRA some sort of outlier or an exception. Instead he doubled down pointing to how it destroyed the African American nuclear family (as if that somewhow was the intent of LBJ and Democrats )
